🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧

A thread for all those who have suffered the loss of a much wanted baby. Affectionately know as the penguin huddle.

We'll start with a roll call as there have been so many new members lately and so many success stories that I think we've all lost track.

In my 1st cycle post MC

I've been lurking as returned to work on Tuesday following my MMC. To say its been horrendous (for a number of reasons) is an understatement. I'm a nursery teacher and fortunately the very lovely parents of the children I teach have been much much nicer to me than the rest of my staff. My head has been nothing short of vile, wanted the sickness recorded as 'stress' rather than pregnancy and then started wittering about disciplinary procedures (I've only had time off for the MC despite my Mum's suicide and Gran's death this year).

Anyway may need some extra handholding as have been sobbing since I got home and sure AF is about to make itself known early next week (currently 9dpo and stupidly tested with a CB early test and got a predictable -ve).
xx

Hi I had just been about to check in on the old thread & saw we're on a new one so thought id joint the roll call!

Age: 29
TTC: number 1
Mc hx: Natural MC 1 late Dec 2017 at 8weeks. MMC MC2 at 12 week scan end of March 2018.
Been trying ish since Oct 2017.
Had one unsuccessful month of trying 2nd cycle post mc and now having to take an interval until August/maybe July if I'm lucky as OH is working away 🙁. But hovering as this really is a great huddle 🐧

So sorry @Pampl3m0usse your head sounds foul! Poor you. 🐧
I saw a car licence plate that was personalised with JKS in it today- literally made my day! 😂 Had to share. Getting ready to go on holiday this weekend and have been to GO to organise some counseling as have been feeling my negative days have been going on a bit too much now. So already feeling much more positive at the mo!

@L1zz13 I didn't want you to feel alone. I am pleased you have a nice counsellor. I'm not connecting with mine and it feels awkward so that doesn't help! I'm sure she's judging me. Thank you for your words of comfort. I really hope I manage to get there. I really just want to get a BFP this month so that I don't have to keep trying to persuade my DH every month. I am just so tired of it. As mentioned above, we've been trying on and off since we got married two years ago. First cycle was June 16 and now we are in 2018! We haven't been tested but my husband was quite ill back then so I think he had poor sperm. As we managed to get pregnant this January maybe we still have a chance!

I'm sorry you feel you need to take a break. I hope your DH will change his mind as he knows how much this means to you x

To those struggling (((((Big Hugs))))) I'm glad a lot of you are getting the counselling you need.

Pample3m0usse Holding your hand through this difficult time. So sorry you're going through this. Getting back to work is tough. I hope things start to get easier for you soon.

About to get married!!! (had to get this in there, its what is getting me through)
Natural MC @ 5 weeks after finding out at 4w5days.
Severe PCOS on right ovary, diagnosed February this year with little likelihood of conceiving naturally. Been trying since May2017.

Trying not to obsess over OPK's and I'm no good at tracking CM so thats not gonna happen, BBT not possible as I'm restless and dont get the same amount of sleep every night.

Having a total conundrum over what to do RE: 1st AF post MC. They say AF is due around 4-6w (assuming you dont conceive!) after MC but this would fall right at the time of the honeymoon! :/ so I have some Nortiserone which I could start taking on Monday for 10 days which will induce first AF OR wait til day before wedding and take it to delay period over wedding/honeymoon. OH and I are kind of agreeing that I will do some OPK's and if I dont get a STRONG +ve then I will use them over wedding/honeymoon time to stop period/bring first one on! Sorry for the waffle.

When do you get married @littleemma? And how many weeks post mc are you?
Honestly - I'd be tempted to bring on that AF then make the absolute most of your wedding experience. You deserve to remember it as an amazing time - and to give your mind some time away enjoying something else.

However I am a control freak :)

@Yukka 07th July so less than a month to go!!!
Shouldve said (dont judge though, Im eager to get back on it now I know its possible) just over 2 weeks since it started (23rd May) and stopped bleeding 28th May so not long ago.

I am tempted, I think I might have to work out dates again just to be sure as I really dont want to fill my body with any more hormones, particularly Nortiserone if I can help it as I think thats what caused the miscarriage, the severe/sudden drop in progesterone.

@Pampl3m0usse sorry you had such a rough time xx
@Jessabean Im pleased your counselling already seems to be working! They offered me some at the docs but I said no for now xx
