Test at the top was yesterday and 11dpo and I thought there was nothing on it. Tested this morning at 12dpo and got this line! What do you think? They're both first response tests.

Looks positive to me.
How long did it take the line to show up?
Why have you taken it apart?

Thank you. Yes I took them apart. Only because it was easier to get a pic. Line is brighter in real life but hard to get on my phone camera. I left the test in the bathroom for about 3 mins and came back to a faint line. Became easier to see once it was dry

If you open a test, it invalidates it. There’s thread on here from yesterday about how these tests come up with lines after being opened.

Line was there before I opened it. Only opened it to lay it flat the get a good pic as my phone camera is awful.

If the line was there when the test was together it's positive

No, see the way the line is thicker at the top and bottom - I've had evaps like that before on FRER. Try another and then you'll know

I'll leave it til tomorrow and try another. How can an evap line be pink? Does anyone know? I was under the impression that the pink dye is only activated by the hcg? I Don't have much understanding with frers

I thought evaps were grey/white in colour can you get a test today and try holding urine for 4 hours to confirm? If not wait till morning. On my first test nobody could see a line but I somehow could and I'm now nearly 10 weeks! X

Good idea Leanne. Might just give that a go. Congratulations! x

I don't know how it can be pink but I've had pink evaps before. V annoying, but I hope that's not what you've got. Fingers crossed 🤞

Thank you :) yes very annoying. I won't be upset if its negative, but id rather just know. We haven't been actively trying, but not really preventing either. Worth mentioning that for the last 3 years, I've had horrific cramps and backpain bang on 3 days before, and leading up to, AF. Every month. But I'm two days from AF and absolutely nothing is happening, that I can feel. So if I'm not pg then I'll be relieved that my pms symptoms are sorting themselves, somewhat :) we shall see.

Good luck with testing today :)

Thank you.

Just done two cheapy tests and both instant faint positives. Frustrating to photograph because the lines are very pink and viable to the eye, but not to my phone camera lol. Took these tests really just to confirm the frer from yesterday. It's early days so anything can happen. Af isn't even late until tomorrow!

Yeah that does look like a faint positive! Are you happy with that result xx

I'm very happy but also cautious. Im a very anxious person, and never feel like I can allow myself to get properly excited until I've seen baby. Not sure if that makes sense to anyone else, but I just worry so much. This will be our last, though so I really hope it's going to go well, and I can enjoy it to the full. Also nervous because I've had 4 pregnancies (1 was misscariage) and I had severe HG with all of them, and had a haemorrhage with my last birth. Are you excited? :) xx
