Found it!

MrsLCW · 22/05/2018 18:35

I'm here 🙌🏻
Can I ask, am I being ridiculous ... what is JKS? X

Jessabean · 22/05/2018 18:51

Hi
Sorry to jump in. I was wondering if you would mind me joining in?

I'm 29 TTC my first child. So far started trying autumn last year, fell pregnant Nov but miscarried naturally at 8 weeks then fell pregnant next cycle but unfortunately was a mmc at my 12 week scan & had D&C after two failed medical attempts. Just started trying again this cycle and am currently a few days into the 2ww. Not sure how I'm going to get through the process this time- the last mc really took it out of me emotionally & still is somewhat if I'm being honest!

MrsLCW · 22/05/2018 18:54

Hi @Jessabean - so sorry for your losses and welcome!!
Wishing you the best of luck!! Xx

L1zz13 · 22/05/2018 19:03

@MrsLCW just keep shagging. Lol

Some of the TTC lingo just sounds ridiculous.

@Jessabean of course my love. All welcome. I'm not feeling brill this evening. AF #2 post mc (March) has just body slammed me. Slowly sipping a mega strong G&T.

It's a great group xx

OP posts:
MrsLCW · 22/05/2018 19:06

@L1zz13 that is ABSOLUTELY my type of lingo!! 😂 and my plan for conceiving our successful pregnancy!! X

DaisyMay25 · 22/05/2018 19:09

Place marking! 9dpo here so just waiting game now, probably onto cycle 10 next week though...

Jessabean · 22/05/2018 19:17

Thank you all!
Sorry for your AF @L1zz13 - I have a friends wedding at the time my AF is meant to be due this cycle so if it's BFN for me I plan on doing the same re:the strong G&T!
Also like the JKS slogan! 😂
I'm about 4/5 dpo at the moment I think so have a little while to wait.

dulwichdays · 22/05/2018 19:18

Evening all - 12dpo for me and awaiting AF as all the usual signs are there. Onto the next cycle where hopefully we’ll catch!

Boboelephant · 22/05/2018 19:18

Thanks for starting new thread @L1zz13. I'll post the link in the old thread so everyone finds it. 😀

hayleyfx · 22/05/2018 19:23

Took me a while but I found it! 🤣

@HidCat omg that poor woman. She’s so strong for going through all of that & not giving up!
@DaisyMay25 I’m not far off, 7dpo! Going to test in a few days, so so nervous 🤦‍♀️ Good luck!! 🤞
@Jessabean welcome! I’m so sorry for your losses, I hope you’re doing alright. Sending you hugs & lots of good luck for TTC again! 🤞

LilacIris · 22/05/2018 19:23

Thanks for the new thread.

DaisyMay25 · 22/05/2018 19:25

@hayleyfx I'm testing on Thursday, 11dpo seems reasonable. Good luck to you too! Fx we both get bfp this month!

Maydot · 22/05/2018 19:26

I’ve here too!!!... Lurking in the background quietly awaiting my first AF since MMC then I can join in!!! Had a positive opk this week so fx AF isn’t far away!!

weasledee · 22/05/2018 19:28

Just checking in! Nothing to report on day 7...... Smile

YellowDaffodils86 · 22/05/2018 19:31

Found new thread.
Still here, no period, no bfp. Just heaps of brown discharge!🤷🏻‍♀️is this my period?! I dunno!

Pampl3m0usse · 22/05/2018 19:34

Oh my goodness this moves quick!
@L1zz13 we're just off Goldington Road. I'm a northern (Mancunian) girl but my DH went to School here and we got stuck (!) I actually think Bedford is underrated! G&Ts definitely the way forward.... I'm giving myself a hard time today as since MMC I've been trying to eat really healthily (we are brutal to ourselves aren't we.... as if that was what made the difference last time) but all I want to do is stuff my face, not helped by the fact I've just weaned nearly 2yo DD and so she's decided that 3am is a suitable time to wake up!
@DaisyMay25 and @dulwichdays all is not quite lost yet though?
@Maydot do you mind me asking how long you had between your MMC and ovulating? I'm really struggling to work out what is going on since my MMC (still a faint positive test though) and am desperate to start trying again.

Boboelephant · 22/05/2018 19:56

@MrsLCW the appearance of cm means you are fertile and leading up to ovulation. Once you've ovulated your cm quickly changes. Usually from EWCM to sticky or creamy. I get EWCM for 5 days before ovulation so it's basically announcing fw starting. So you are defi still in with a shot and DH may come home bang on time!
@Jessabean welcome and sorry for your losses. Hopefully you catch again soon.
I've gotten a bit confused with switching threads but good luck to those testing soon!!! 🤞🤞🤞
@SerenaOverjoyed so sorry af got you. Bitch indeed!!
@L1zz13 hopefully now you can move forward. Enjoy that G&T!

Maydot · 22/05/2018 19:58

Of course @Pampl3m0usse I found out on 30th April at my 12 week scan and started spotting the next day, passed the pregnancy on 5th May then ovulated around the 20th.
Sorry you’re having a rubbish time, How long since your MMC?

DBoo · 22/05/2018 20:00

Thanks @Boboelephant

KnitKitty · 22/05/2018 20:01

Hi Jessabean. Nice to see you here. Have you officially started TTC now then? How are you feeling about it?

L1zz13 sorry AF got you.

Two questions for you all:

  1. Can I assume if I have EWCM that ovulation hasn't occurred yet? (She says hopefully). Does your CM change immediately when you're no longer in your fertile period?

  1. Why exactly do they say you're more fertile soon after MC? What is it that makes you more fertile?/How are you more fertile, supposedly?

After my freak out yesterday I have been pleased to see that I still have EWCM (which I think started on Sunday), but I don't know if I'm just clutching at straws? How accurate is tracking your CM?
HidCat · 22/05/2018 20:05

Welcome to all the new members! Sorry that we all find ourselves here but so grateful to have this amazing group to turn to. Looking forward to more JKS and BFPs in this lovely penguin huddle!

Feeling really positive here, seem to have turned a corner this month so hoping I can pass that on to others. xxx

Thanks for the new thread.

@Pampl3m0usse I realised I didn't answer! We have been ttc between surgery and what I suppose is now the 2ww. I waited until bleeding had stopped but I don't know how fertile I was. With your faint positive I'm not sure because mine was negative 2 weeks post surgery. I would call the doctors for reassurance.

Feel very sad this evening. I've been chatting to two of my best friends who are both about to give birth. We never thought we would ever conceive naturally and all I can think of is why is it so hard for us? Sorry for the self pity but none of my friends really understand what I'm going through x

Sictransitgloria · 22/05/2018 20:19

Hello, hope it is ok to join?

Very sorry to hear of all your losses.

Finally feeling ready to have another crack at this TTC malark. Had a mc in Nov, had a haemorrhage and had a stay in hospital. The whole experience was horrific and I will not be using that hospital ever again. Never thought I’d want to try again but here I am.

Fingers crossed for u all. Let’s hope we get some luck our way!

RedRobin7 · 22/05/2018 20:24

Hi @Jessabean ! Nice to see you over here 😊Good luck and fingers crossed for you!

We aren't TTC yet, we will in two weeks time. My period is due in two days based on very painful ovulation pains on a Thursday and period is usually exactly 2 weeks later.

Now being paranoid though... we had sex 6 days before the ovulation pain so shouldn't be in the FW but as I'm on holiday drinking and now started feeling bloated with slight pains in one side I'm really worried in case I am pregnant and have been drinking lots 🙈 I am sure I'm not but still going to worry about it until AF turns up!
