I had my first at 29, second at 30 and now pregnant with number 3 at 33. This one was conceived the quickest (2nd month).
You’re still young!

Oh and I was by far the youngest in my NCT group with DC1.

@SoyDora- thank you. I just feel disheartened as we were TTC like rabbits (SORRY TMI) now I can’t even have sex. Having a baby feels so far away. My operation is for endometriosis, so naturally worry about more miscarriages to come 💔

Aw try not to worry. For what it's worth, I was easily the youngest in my NCT group having my first at 27, the next youngest was 31, the rest were all 34+. All having their first! I still feel younger than most other mums at the groups, too. So 30s actually seems to me to be a more 'typical' age to have a baby!

I'm worried and I'm 33. I just have a strong feeling it won't happen, my other chikdren I conceived easily.

That’s how I feel. I know it’s only a “feeling” but I honestly believe my body is not able to carry a baby. The only way I’ll know is to keep trying but I’m petrified of more miscarriages x

I had that exact same feeling before trying for number 3. Absolutely convinced it wouldn’t happen. Fell pregnant in the second month of trying!

I'm 34 (turning 35 in Aug) trying for #1 and yes! I do worry that we've left it too late and we're on cycle 12 now but I'm minded of lots of friends who have had theirs late 30s and then feel young in comparison

Kate8989 · 21/05/2018 19:37

@ FingersXssd83 it’s so hard as it’s our bodies going through this but we don’t really have any control. I think because I had the MC I think what if what if. I could be 6 months pregnant now... life’s so unfair 💔

Looking through your posts I'm really very happy that you guys have had the opportunity to TTC at the ages you are. I didn't get the chance until I was past 40 but I'm still hanging on to hope knowing friends and family who had children at 40+. Don't lose hope yet ladies xxx

@CookieWaffle- bless your heart thanks for sharing. I’m a moaning Minnie this year, had such a shitty time. Full of worry, fear and anxiety.... all these irrational thoughts are flooding my mind. You ladies on here have been amazing!!!!! X

@Kate8989 Oh I can totally relate, it's so hard not to get anxious, especially when it's something you want so badly. Try not to let it take over, it's not good for you.

I didn't find my wonderful man until a few years ago and I never thought that would be possible but it happened. Some things that seem so far away may or may not be. We can't worry about what we don't know. Focus on what makes you happy and try not to let it stress you out xx

@CookieWaffle- I have changed as a person this year and it’s hard to come to terms with that.
I see pregnant women/women with babies and I can feel the envy flooding my body and mind!!! I’m a very bitter, angry woman lol.
Then I remind myself what i have to be thankful for and I have the most phenomenal Husband I really do. Why is it as always want more? X

@Kate8989 Oh yes, I know that all too well. Saw all my friends get married, have kids, on purpose or by accident (just one drunken night, really??). Its been tough. I stupidly set myself deadlines, and missed them all. Meet ups with friends where all they'd talk about is babies. I had to drift away from some of them, I couldn't handle it. There are 2 things I've always wanted. I now have the one, I just want the other. And I totally get the angry part!

Yea me! I'm 32 and been ttc since December. I know it's not that long but I worry about my age. I got pregnant at 25 and didn't keep it and it's always played on my mind that maybe that was my only chance.

Yeah a bit.

Had our first when I was 35 and trying for dc2 now at 38.... if we conceive I’ll be 39 by the time it’s due. Dh is a few years older than me.

It worries me a bit as I know chances decrease as I get older and I also think what age I’ll be as my kids are teens etc.

My first I was 21 and now this time I’m 31!!! I think this time round I’ll be so much more calm and know what I’m doing though! Xx

I was 39 when I fell pregnant with my last child. Only had unprotected sex twice 🤤 after a few drinks - I was very stressed at work at the time. It was a very unexpected pregnancy due to my age (and the ridiculous amount of stress I was under) But it happens. You are very young, so no need to worry. You have many fertile years ahead.
I am so sorry for your loss. Just concentrate in healing and the rest will come when it's time... Big hug xxx

Lordy, time is not an issue for you yet. You're still young Smile
I met DH at 35 had DD at 38. I'm about to turn 42 and would dearly love another. Over a year of trying (or not being careful) and nothing. I wish we could have met 10 years or 5 years earlier but we are where we are.

Not quite ready to throw in the towel yet!!

Good luck ladies 👍

Ahh thank you mellongoose :) I don't think it helps that a few friends who are of similar age got pregnant within 2 months of trying. However we're not really tryimg as OH won't be timed to DTD so it's kind of relaxed but worries me at the same time.

I’m very much wishing and hoping for the impossible at the moment. Like I wish I had children in my early 20’s as the problem I have (endometriosis) wouldn’t have been so far spread then.....
I’ve not been told it’s such an extent to stop me falling pregnant, it isn’t effecting my ovaries/tubes or anything. But it is there scattered about so it can’t be helping. Also it causes painful sex for me at the moment, so that little joy has been taken from me temporarily 😂 x

I had first at 27 (almost 28) and currently ttc #2 at 32.
In my nct class they ranged from 26-38 and all have had 2nd children since. Oldest is 42 I think.
