Period due and had cramps all day but not started

I was due period and had pains during the morning and day but not so much now, but not started. Usually I start bleeding first then the cramps. However I didn't have any cramps before today.

When I had a chemical pregnancy I got some pains 3 days before my period was due. Therefore I was expecting that if I was to be pregnant. I have had no implantation cramps that's I'm aware of.

When you get pregnant do you always get pains before the period is due? What were your symptoms?

Hi @Febe123, I've never been pregnant before so can't offer any advice on implantation cramping or anything but I did have something similar to you last month. Luckily my periods are pretty regular and I usually get very light/mild cramps (or none) before the bleeding and then heavier, more painful cramps during the first day of AF. However last month, like you I had almost 2 days of cramping around the time AF was due but she didn't show up on time. I convinced myself these were the elusive "implantation cramps" only for AF to show up that evening - 2 days late. So it's definitely possible to have an odd cycle with symptoms that's aren't 'usual' for you.

Sorry if that doesn't help!?

I’m no expert but I had cramps from 6dpo with this pregnancy. It’s my first though so this could be very unusual, I wouldn’t know 😂

Maybe if AF doesn’t arrive tomorrow take a test?
