My cycles are between 60 and 80 days. I'll take any advice you've got. I was considering soy for my next one, have you tried it?

Welcome @Aph413 ! No havent heard of that tbh so far ive just been trying to exercise, eat more healthy in general, take iron supplements, conception vits and drinking raspberry leaf tea. Google doesnt seem to help much so how does the soy work is it a supplement or do you just eat more soy products?

Soy isoflavones supposedly work a little like clomid and can help bring ovulation forward which will in turn shorten your cycle. You'll have more luck googling soy isoflavones than just soy but I forgot to use the full term for it Blush

And I'm back! Grin. Honestly so far I've only tried weightloss diet and vitamins. I've got b13 folic acid vitamin d and evening primrose oil. Oh and so much grapefruit juice. I'm tempted by acupuncture but I seemed to remember reading something about it stopping you giving blood unless it was done somewhere registered? Not 100% on that. May still give it a try even if it just helps me relax
We've been trying for 8 months now but that's only been 3 cycles so far.
How long are your cycles?

I had the mirena coil removed in August after 5 years, no periods in that time but before that my cycles were a wonderful 29 days.

@Aph413 thats gd at least it shows your body was regular before the coil I think over time it will shorten I know thats not much use just now when ur ttc its soo frustrating isnt it? I ve always had long cycles thought it was gd when I was younger less periods if only I knew the grief it would cause later on lol

If I'd known before the coil I don't think I would've had it. Or maybe a non hormonal one. Its so incredibly frustrating, how long have you been trying now?

Yh ive read about a lot of ppl on here saying the same about all sorts of contraceptives messing with their cycles. Im lucky in a warped way that the pill etc give me really bad migraines so ive not been on anything like that for about 7yrs we were just using condoms and the withdrawl method.

I'm on cycle day 34 out of a predicted 60 so I'm going to wait for the next one to try soy. I also spent £150 on the ovusense monitor to see if that will help me pinpoint ovulation.
Good luck with the soy, are you getting it from Tesco?

I got the clear blue tests from groupon. They arent the dual hormone ones pictured but theyre still cheaper

Ovusense is a wearable internal thermometer that syncs with an app. I wake up at different times so I figured I'd give this ago. Should be £199 but I found the code SPRING that gave me 25% off so I went for it.
I haven't tried adding vitamin C but I might now. How much difference has it made to you?

Thats a really gd idea im the same i was gonna start temping but working all different hrs i dnt think itd b accurate, is it comfortable tho i tend to use pads rather than tampons. Well my cycle was 9days shorter this month taking the iron and vit c and ive got af atm and it seems slightly lighter. Fx this isnt just a total coincidence lol

Ive been reading a really interesting article on soy says not to eat soy during your fertile week. Crazy that it helps ovulation but later on in your cycle it seems to damage sperm.

I haven't received mine yet but I'll let you know. I hate tampons so I'm hoping this is comfortable but to be honest I'll do anything to get pregnant now.

If I dont get a positive on an opk then i ll use the soy next cycle defo got it out of tesco for£4.50 so not too bad😆
