Anyone else about to begin their FW or coming up to it soon?

My FW starts from tomorrow, I will be CD10, cycle 3 and will be DTD as much as poss (Taking into account our house is fecking cold and all I want to do is put my onesie and fluffy socks on and watch Marcella on catch up).

Haven't been temping this month but will do my first OPK tonight... I haven't been doing them since my period finished but hoping I will catch my LH surge anyway. Has everyone been doing their OPK's since the last day of their period?

How does everyone feel about having a November baby?

I've just finished my FW and currently 4dpo. I know what you mean about the house being cold haha we've been the same but managed to have a good crack at it none the less! As for a November baby......would love one!!!! Ready made firework displays a plenty to help celebrate birthdays year after year x

Oh and I only started my opks on cd12. Got my positive on cd17 (even after a loss at 5 weeks last cycle) which is normal for me x

@mamabear so sorry to hear about your loss last month Flowers

Ooh 4dpo, when do you think you'll start testing?

Ahh didn't think about the firework displays! Also I've heard it's the best time to have a baby as you don't really go outside for the first couple of months anyway so it's starting to get nicer outside when you do go out.

Ok phew, thought I'd left it too late! Will do my first ever OPK tonight, hopefully i do it right Hmm

I'm currently on cycle day 9 and I usually ovulate on CD 15 so I won't start with opks until at least day cd10 or 11. Saying that it was day 17 last month, I'm hoping that was just my body being a bit weird post miscarriage and things will be back to normal this cycle. Going to dtd regularly from now though just in case 😉

@daisymalone I'm CD 9 too - it feels like it's taken forever to get here. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage Sad fx this is the month for a sticky BFP for you!

I'm glad to hear that generally people don't start testing till CD10 or 11 onwards. I may just do one tonight to get the hang of it.

I'm only cycle 3 and all the waiting is killing me x

I'm CD 11, had some days off to use up so got my fertile week off, just gonna relax as much as possible, think I ovulate at the weekend. I'm not using opks this cycle just DTD as much as we can and hoping for the best.
Fx for all of you

I'm almost the same as you @rosieposies, I'm CD7 but my cycle is usually only 25 days so I started OPKs yesterday. It's the first time I've used them and I'm worried I keep missing my ovulation so thought I would just throw everything at it this month!

Smack bang in fertile week but not holding out much hope as got the opk peak on cd 9 yesterday :(. Reckon that eggs gonna be too immature. Still dtd anyway as you never know. Not going to spend any money on testing early with this cycle though!

@daisymay glad to hear you've taken some time off, hope you're having some nice down time! You're two days ahead of me (I'm CD10 today) so we should be testing around the same time.

@Karigan I second what @thisis says, you never know! I didn't realise eggs could be immature??

@peaches What times are you testing with an OPK and are you going to start testing soon? I've seen somewhere to do it between 10am and 7pm but have no idea why Confused

@rosieposies I'm not testing early this month either just on the day AF is due
I do 2 opks a day when I do them, one in the morning and one in the evening. Apparently FMU can give a false reading and if you do two a day you're more likely to catch the surge 😊

@rosieposies I've been doing mine around 5pm just because that's when I get home from work - I started yesterday and there are v v faint lines on yesterday's and today's, so I'm thinking Sat/Sun might be ovulation day. When are you doing yours?

@peaches did one around 10pm tonight and it was negative. Maybe that was too late?? Will try again tomorrow morning. I usually get EWCM (sorry for tmi) around this time but none to speak of.

I think I might just follow the route of DTD every other day for as long as poss. As much as I love to POAS the logistics of doing it twice a day whilst at work is tricky!!

@clary that's rubbish, hope you feel better soon. There have been some awful bugs going around!

@kaytees can I ask how long you were TTC before you fell preg with your first? Sorry as well to hear about your cp xx

@rosieposies sure. With DS I'd had some bloods taken before we ttc and been advised to do OPKS as they showed some imbalances - so we used them right away and he was conceived in a month. Very very lucky. I knew this time round wouldn't be as easy but still finding it really frustrating at times (and it hasn't really been that long, only 6/7 months!)
