Positive opk yesterday, negative today?

I have a quick question about opks.

I had a positive test yesterday (shame the dp is away until tonight). My bbt hasn't risen this morning so I assume I haven't ovulated yet. I've done another opk just now, and it's not quite positive, the test line is slightly paler than the control.

Is this normal? Am I still likely to ovulate later or tomorrow?

And thank you for any help in advance, it's all very exciting to know my body is probably working properly!

Normal. Many people surge for only a few hours. Generally you will ovulate 12-72 hours after the positive. So it would be weird for you to get a positive while actually ovulating. I ovulate less than 12 hours after my positive though...

It's an individual thing!

Hi,

I got a positive OPK late on CD14 and early on CD15. By noon it was negative (short surge over night).

My temp rose on CD15 so I reckon I ovulated 12-24 hours after my positive OPK. Everyone is different xoxo
