Due AF today, but I'm too scared to check Blush I've put a pad down just in case. I have some ad symptoms but I'm still in denial.

I'm due tomorrow and trying not to get my hopes up or symptom-spot, but I've had really bad indigestion all week which I never usually get. I'm pretty sure AF IS going to arrive though, so not testing. I'd rather be late before testing. I think probably work stress accounts for the indigestion, but great timing, huh?!

How long have you been trying?

I've been trying about 5 months knit kitty, I have no idea how people ttc for years and years. I've having in and off cramping which I'm trying to convince myself is something.
implanting.
I've just googled my possible due date which is a bit silly. I don't test either as I hate those whiter than white tests.

I’m 5 days late now and waiting for AF to arrive, had a pos test last Friday and the negative on Monday day after AF due took another last night and pos again but doctors think chemical, this ttc is definitely not easy 😔

I'm cycle 7 and AF due Valentine's Day. I don't test, DTS sooo much this month, but reckon I'm not preggers though as I don't have any unusual symptoms. Finding this all very stressful (35 in summer!). Hey ho 😞

Hello! Can I join you? AF is still a bit irregular 6 months after mirena removal, but I think I'm due AF on Sunday or early next week. Trying my best not to symptom spot and not going to test until I'm sure AF really is late. This is only month three for me but finding the whole thing very stressful. (I know it's very early days in comparison to many women).

Hi eveyone here is my af update , had some strong af cramps last night with tiny amount of spotting, no af this morning and I miss feeling a bit queasy with a funny taste in my mouth. I'm sure I'm just imagining things .
Foamy- hope its not a chemical, fingers crossed for you.

FingersX, sometimes it happens when you least expect it, no signs can be a sign tooSmile

Mama - hopefully this will be your month too!

Hi Guys!
I’m new on here - just joined this morning! Not sure how to start a thread and sorry if this is the wrong place!

I’m looking for advice...

Myself and my husband are just starting our TTC journey. I have been off the pill for 2 weeks now (was on Yasmin/other pills for around 6 years) and my very regular withdrawal bleed hasn’t come yet Hmm. I’ve been waiting and waiting but nothing yet. It’s so bizarre how the minute we actually want to try I won’t bleed lol.

My question is, can I get pregnant without any kind of withdrawal or period as it almost probably means I’ve not ovulated?

I’ve heard a lot of stories about nightmare pill withdrawals. The funny thing is I used to bleed at the drop of a hat if I didn’t take my pill bang on time Grin .

Thanks x

Yeah I did one on Monday night and it was negative 👎🏼 . Feel so crap and bloated from whatever changes I’m going through from stopping the pill. It’s always causes havoc with my hormones. Hoping it will come soon so I might feel a bit less horrible! It’s annoying not knowing where I’m at or if I’m ovulating etc. Been temping each day with a couple of apps so hopefully it sorts itself out. I just wasn’t sure if it was actually possible to get preggers if I hadn’t bleed but from all the stuff Ive read online anything is possible apparently 😮

I’m due AF in 4 days according to my apps and I’m dreading it. All I want is a BFP but I’ve not tested yet because it’s still a bit early and my cycles are irregular but I’ve ordered some FRERs that should be coming on Monday so I’ll test then if AF hasn’t arrived. I normally don’t go this long between periods and I’ve had cramps etc but I think they might just be PMS. No tender breasts etc but I’ve got a cold and I’m wondering if AF is messed up because I’ve had tooth surgery recently and my body is still recovering.
Every time I go to the toilet I don’t want to look in case AF makes an appearance.
It’s wearing me down TTC and getting nothing but I’ll just have to keep going because it will be worth it if I get my BFP.

Hope you are all well and fingersX for you all! Flowers

I'm due sometime between Sunday and Friday as my cycle is a bit iffy, but am sure she's on her way as I'm grouchy and have been cramping for days. I am the same Love I dread going to the loo as I'm so not wanting to see her arrive. This is only my first month of ttc but I'm not coping well with the let down. Sad

I keep having vivid sex dreams and I'm a bit headachy despite drinking lots of water atm! Currently 9 DPO and 4 days away from AF. Could it be a sign? Don't want to test as I can't face the disappointment. Baby dust to all x

@FingersXssd83 - exactly the same here for me! Constant headaches which is pretty unusual for me, vivid dreams (strange ones too)
I’m not testing yet I’ve ordered some so I’ll test when they arrive if AF doesn’t beat them to it

Good luck @Lovewithcautionx I was all geared up ready to test when I got home from work but only have the fancy tests and don't want to waste them. Might test tomorrow am (not usually into testing tbh!), let me know how you get on x

iniquity it's terrible isn't it, not knowing if you're convincing yourself of symptoms or if it's actually something. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

No AF for me today, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Not sure the exact date I'm due so will only test on Wednesday if AF doesn't show up. No period symptoms yet, but no pregnancy symptoms either.

Really hoping for BFPs for all of you on this thread!

Rmad6716, sorry for being stupid, do you mean you've take the 21 days of pills, stopped and not had your normal withdrawal bleed that you'd normally have before starting the pill again after seven days, or have you had the first withdrawal bleed and not had anything else after not going back on the pill? I only ask because my doctor told me to expect a withdrawal bleed mid-month after my normal withdrawal bleed and I never had one, just went straight in to having "normal" periods. Was very bloated all month and had pains here and there. Your periods can take a while to get back in to a rhythm after being on the pill so I've only been making notes of symptoms and jotting down dates at the moment; no temping or OPKs.

It's so frustrating @iniquity @KnitKitty How many cycles have you been trying for? We'll be onto 8 if I don't get my bfp this time around. Delayed starting because we honeymooned in a place with Zika, eventually started in May and then had to stop for a few months because I had an abnormal smear. I'm 35 soon so so starting to panic a little now as I want 2 little 'uns hopefully!! Thanks

KnitKitty · 09/02/2018 20:14

FingersXssd83 It's only been two cycles for me at the moment, so really early days, but I'm hoping things happens quickly as I have endometriosis and the longer it takes to get pregnant the more likely I am to get ill and for my fertility to decline. My biggest fear is losing my ovary. I only have one as I had to have the other removed with a chocolate cyst when I was 14. (I'm 30 btw).

My sister just turned 32 and won't be starting TTC for another year or two and I know her age worries her a lot; but like I said to her the majority of women your age won't have a problem conceiving, and the annoying thing for all of us is it can take several months and sometimes even years even if there are no fertility issues. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and hope you get a BFP soon!

Hi KnitKitty,

I never had my usual withdrawal bleed and haven't bled at all yet. Defo don't think I'm pregnant I just wasn't sure if it was possible to become pregnant without having a real period as I thought that I wouldn't be ovulating if I didn't have a period - sorry if I sound clueless lolBlush. Hopefully I'll learn from you all on this journeySmile.

Sending you all baby dust Star

I think ovulation triggers the period rather than the other way round Rmad, therefore once you get your period it means you probably ovulated two weeks previously. However it is possible to have periods without ovulation, especially straight after the pill.

Early days for you @KnitKitty but I can imagine it's a worry. I think we all doubt whether it will happen before it does but I'm conscious of the stats and that we're far more likely to get there than not despite our unique circumstances!

Hope everyone's staying calm and positive. Wishing BFPs for everyone on the thread xx

Wow big congrats @iniquity 5 months is a great result! Best of luck with your 9months ahead! Is this your first? Can I ask how old you are?

The test I did this morning was a FRER but one of those 'pregnant/not pregnant' things so no lines to obsess over haha. AF not due until Weds so hoping I'm still in with a shot!

Good luck to everyone else xx
