Help please, really confused!!!

I don’t know if it’s wishful thinking or I’m fooling myself.

I had unprotected sex on day 14 of cycle, ovulation I think was around day 14-16

Spotting occurred on day 21-25, it varies from brown to pink to red but was nowhere near what my periods would be like, they’re usually heavy to the extent where I need trousers changed cos a tampon and a pad don’t hold it. Sorry I know that’s tmi! My period usually lasts a full 7 days aswell!

So now I’m on Day 33 of my cycle no period And no positive pregnancy test results...

When do I hold off until for the next test? I don’t want to go to my dr for a blood test yet incase it comes back negative as I think that would get to me more that I’d allowed myself to get excited enough to see my dr... if that makes sense?

Please if anyone has any advice I’d be grateful!

Other symptoms I’ve had since day 21 have been irregular but I’m listing them just incase...

Feeling sick, fatigue, not as hungry, headaches, lower back pain and now today I’ve had slight pains on bottom right hand abdomen. I also feel like I need to pee all the time but when I try to go I don’t need to.

I had a kind of "non period" like you described and tested negative, 1 week later still no real period so I tested again to find a very faint positive line, it may just me a bit early to test.

Took me about two weeks to get a positive after missed period, finally got one on a clear blue digital. I had MAJOR backache as well which was one of the most obvious symptoms for me ☺️ good luck! 💐

@Allieeyes. I am literally in the same boat with the same symptoms! Normally 35 day cycle but on day 39 now- testing negative too. I've got a doctor's appointment later because I feel so pants!

I feel like I'm going crazy and reading too much into it. Used a stupid amount of dip test tests already, I just want to know either way! If I'm not then I need to draw a line under it and mark the spotting week as a period and consider my cycles might be changing in frequency and flow amount. Im so impatient and I hate that the Flo app I'm using keeps telling me how late I am... although I kinda like it telling me that too lol. Ahhh this is so frustrating!! My last pregnancy was a bumpy one, lots of bleeding throughout and my daughter arrived at 29+4 days which I think is why I'm holding out that the spotting isn't a sign of no pregnancy.

You'd think I'd be a pro at spotting the signs by now! Have you any other children? Xxx
