Still no af. Still haven’t tested. CD29 and either 16dpo according to app, but I think more likely 14dpo today according to ewcm I had later in my cycle than normal. 13dpo Is my standard lp. So fully expecting af to show to up any minute. My hopes are so high at the minute but I just can’t bear the thought of doing the frer I have burning a hole in my bathroom cupboard. I’ve never got this late in my cycle before. I normally am a pee on anything nut job but now I’m frozen with the maybe this month I’ve really done it hope. I bet she shows up in the night though like the cruel witch she is.... ive even googled due dates just to taunt myself further.

Had to join as absolutely love the positivity of the title!
I know miscarriages are heartbreaking, but I’m really keen on moving forward positively to get a sticky bean very soon Smile
My miscarriage was 2 weeks ago, I didn’t know I was pregnant so lots to take in!
We are waiting for me to have a period then will probably get trying. I’m very apprehensive, but I know when we eventually have a little one it will all be worth it.
Looking forward to reading lots of positive stories over the coming months xx

@NoCatsHere. I'm on cd34 and my cycles have been anywhere between 31-35 days long, so technically, TECHNICALLY lol I could already be late. I've got some pre af niggles and insomnia so I'm wavering between hopeful and accepting that I will probably be spotting by this time tomorrow :-(

I tried to go for a smear test today, but since it's less than 12 weeks since my last MC they wouldn't do it. I am so fed up with this.

Welcome @Kate8989 and hope you get your sticky bean soon.
@HoldTightPretendItsAPlan ahh that's crap! I didn't even know that was a thing.

Hi all.

DH and I are TTC no 1, had two MCs last year (at 8 weeks in March and 12 weeks in August). We took a couple of months off in the Autumn but are trying again now. Currently got EWCM and app says ovulation was yesterday so we're at it like bunnies at the moment (even though he has been working 12 hour days this week) in the hope that cycle 2 is good for us again - we conceived cycle 2 both times that ended in MC last year.

Welcome @emwithme sorry about your MC's. Fingers crossed that this cycle works for you with a sticky bean this time!

Hi. I've hopped on and off this thread a few times in the past and I'm ready to get back on again.

Not sure if there is any people around from the last time I was on here hopefully not and they have all had success so I will quickly introduce myself.

Gingerbread man
Age 33
TTC 1st live DC
Mmc @ 9wks 2014
Stillbirth @ 27 wks 2015
Mmc @ 14 wks 2017.

I've been lucky in the past that I have fell quickly when trying but as you can see not so lucky with the whole pregnancy resulting in a live DC thing.

Is there anyone TTC who is overweight? I have put it off and put it off trying to loose it as really not in the right head space and that is the main reason for the break since last pregnancy but now I have it in my head it's either age or weight that's going to be a problem so I have to make a choice which one it is.

I am trying to be healthier and will be purchasing a cocktail of vitamins payday to help me in my journey.

Anyway - hi! Nice to meet you all!

@gingerbreadmam. I am. I have a terrible sweet tooth. I've decided though that if flo comes this cycle then I'm going to make a real effort to shift it. I put weight on after my dd was born in 2016 and then more after I lost my baby in August. No judging lol but I am about 14st 7lbs.

Report
gingerbreadmam · 18/01/2018 18:41

Oh I'm heavier than that although haven't weighed myself in ages. I'm a good size 16.

I've steadily put weight on over the last ten years. I can loose it when I try but I have no will power and after loosing my son food was one of the only things I found pleasure in. Complete emotional eater too.

I do feel like my relationship with food is changing slightly and I've really cut back on alcohol which must help but I need to be more focused once this flu thing frigs off and now the Christmas sweet stash has depleted.

I just remind myself that lots of women much bigger than me have babies so although being over weight isn't ideal it's not always a problem.

@NoCatsHere how have you not tested yet?! You've got such a strong will power!

Anyone had a tiny amount (and I mean a little tiny bit) of pink in their cm, my cervix is still closed (sorry) and I've done another ic tonight and I'm still pregnant. I'm just terrified as I need to make it to 5+2 and I am 4+5. AF due between tomorrow and Monday according to my apps. Not sure I can go through another loss x

Can't remember if I updated on the last thread or not. Had scan, tissue appears to have left my dumbass body. We're tracking bloods as still getting positive tests but hopefully it'll be gone soon

Report
gingerbreadmam · 18/01/2018 18:53

nelle I know I haven't exactly had any good outcomes as of yet but I had a bleed in my 2nd pregnancy early on and bled from 6wks pretty much in my last one and all was well at 3 scans so I would try not to worry.

Could be implantation.

@gingerbreadmam. I have cut out alcohol, caffeine and milk. I didn't want to have to cut out sugar but if it comes to it I will.

I'm an emotional eater too - happy, sad, angry - you name it! I've eaten more sugary stuff since the miscarriage but my overall consumption of food has lowered significantly. Im also only drinking water now, which must be a good thing?

I have a viral thing going on which is annoying!

Hi all! Would love to join you all on this thread..
Let me introduce myself:
Hope18
Age 25
Ttc No 1
MC November 2017
Following Ovia app
Fairly new to mumsnet !

Love reading everyone’s positive thoughts on 2018, hopefully this year is the year for us too!
Me and DH are in 2nd cycle of TTC after our MC, having strange symptoms this cycle I’m still trying to work out what’s just AF and why could potentially be leading to BFP Confused
Sending baby dust to all x

I don't drink tea or coffee or milk although I am partial to a can of coke and prefer full fat although I've tried to go with zero lately. I do feel a lot better cutting down on alcohol. Sometimes I was getting through two bottles of wine in a weekend and occasionally more so that is a good change.

I have hammered the chocolate as of late but fortunately it is gone now and I am sick of it so I'm hoping I can be healthier.

I'm taking 5mg folic acid and b12 at the minute. Going to stock up on b6 b3 and high dose vitamin d and possibly a general conception vitamin when I get paid.

Will be taking baby aspirin when I next get a bfp and may get cyclogest (progesterone) for the first 12 weeks.

Oh @gingerbreadmam that's a tough history you poor love. I really hope 2018 is your year!! And good luck on the weight loss. It is difficult to shift especially if you're an emotional eater and have suffered trauma but will be worth it. We are all here to support you.
@LookingAtTheStars89 you sound really focused too- great job! I should probably give up alcohol and caffeine but probably won't! 🙈
Not sure @NelleB but I think a little spotting is quite normal. Fingers crossed for you!
@UnicornsandRainbows1 glad you've finally gotten the all clear on the scan. Fingers crossed you get your negative soon and can move forward.
Welcome @Hope18 although sorry you're here. It's a great group though.

Thanks bobo

Definitely stay positive nelle especially with such a small amount. My bleeding last pregnancy was quite bad clots as well and they couldn't find a cause for it and as I say scans were good whilst this was going on.
