Very blue evap line?? Test left overnight

We're actually meant to be taking a break from ttc so I don't know how I feel about this.

My boobs felt very big and sore yesterday so I took a leftover test impulsively in the evening and it looked negative. I checked 30 mins later and still looked negative, then looked this morning (not proud) and it looks like a clear +

I know about evap lines and that blue tests are infamous, but this looks really positive. Has anyone had a very blue evap line before??

If I am pregnant it's sods law. We were desperate a few months ago after a MC but very happy to take a break and had travelling planned

Tests are invalid after a certain amount of time. Think it's about an hour but could be wrong.

Looks like an evap line to me, especially after such a long time.. I would test again.

This situation happened to me.. decided to try for baby 3, spent 4 months TTC.

I went on a night out with my cousin and we planned to start pole fitness in the new year.. really enjoyed my night out (other children are 4 and 5). Finally felt like I was getting my time back - I had DS at 18 and DD at 19 so didn't do the going out thing. Even planned going to college!

Went out on the Saturday.
Booked appointment for the implant on the Monday.
Found out I was pregnant on the Tuesday around 3 weeks.

It was a shock at first, but we got used to the idea very quickly. Our children are SO excited and I'll get my time in a few years! I'm only 24 so have plenty of time once this baby gets older!

Thanks Thedriftofstars.. I will have to be stricter with time limits in future.

Congratulations stuckfornames! You're right, you will get the time back in your 40s when other mothers are up to their eyes in nappies.

My dh is -annoyingly- really excited. I've tried to harness this by sending him out in the rain to buy tests. Wink

That's an evap. It's narrow and off-centre. Evaps on blue-line tests are indeed usually blue.

I got a BFN using a pink dye test, so this was an evap

I had no idea evap lines could be so clear. A few months ago in a different frame of mind I'd have definitely viewed this as a positive and would have been devasted to get the bfn. I don't understamd why blue dye tests are manufactured.

In case anyone is interested the offending test was a Sainsbury's own brand.

Kinda the same thing has just happened to me, took a test earlier, possibly didn't wait the whole 2minutes so went back later to check (I'd say 4hrs) and there was a very clear blue line (also used sainsburys own brand) and then checked again (after 8hrs) and its faded. What do people think? Possibly pregnant or likely evap line? Confused
😯

Can't seem to share photo but even the faded line is stronger than Pinecones attached photo

I'd test again in the morning, your urine will have been more diluted late in the day. Also, I got a bfp on one of those sainsburys tests before a pink dye one, she's 8 months old now so it was quite reliable for me. Fingers crossed for you op

On my Tesco own one the blue line did not show until after 30 minutes and did turn out to be a bfp.

Done another this morning, negative.
It's been 48days since period so I was disappointed Shock
