Has anyone conceived immediately after a miscarriage?

I'm looking for some stories to give me hope here... Lost a baby and had a D&C almost three weeks ago and think I ovulated about a week ago. We only DTD three times this cycle, 2 times before ovulation and once after. I've heard that you're more fertile after a loss- has anyone known this to be true? Thanks.

Yes. I had an early miscarriage (no medical involvement needed) and got pregnant again straight away. My son is now almost 2. Sorry for your loss and good luck for this cycle.

Yes! I had a D&C after a mmc at 8 weeks then conceived my son with the very next egg. No period in between. He's now 15.

I had a very early miscarriage in the mid November and then got pregnant around a month later - my periods were all over the place as it was my second miscarriage so I’d no idea when to expect it. DD is now 2 so it’s definitely possible

Me too! I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks and fell pregnant again 8 weeks later. (We where told to wait 12weeks before trying agin... )
My Son is a happy healthy 8 year old!

Yes I have. Due date for baby I lost was early feb, had DC2 early April. I waited for my next period after miscarriage then starting ttc straight away.

Miscarriage at 10 weeks, that was early December. In January I went to doc saying I'd done a test and it was positive and I had morning sickness. Was wondering if I had some retained tissue. Was sent for a scan at early preg unit. Was two weeks pregnant...I think, she is now 15 and exact timing is blurry!

I had a miscarriage in July and just found out I'm pregnant again.

My periods were very wonky for the first few cycles though.

I had a miscarriage in May, waited for my period in June, fell pregnant straight away in July. He’s now 3.5 years old

I had d n c. One period and then conceived. This was all via ivf. My mum had a mc then had my sister with no period. It canbhappen!

Yes. I have a definite story of hope.

Mmc I November 2011. November 2012 to healthy baby. August 2014 gave birth to healthy baby. August 2015 gave birth to healthy baby.

Definitely a story of hope. My mmc devastated me. But if it had not been I wouldn't be sitting now eating toast with my smallest baby.

Sorry for your loss I had a 1st trimester MC in April last year, I was pregnant again by August, healthy DC born April this year. Three periods (regular but longer) periods in between. The best of luck to you

Not immediately after, but I conceived a healthy baby on the 3rd cycle after a second trimester miscarriage. Was told to wait 3 months before trying again and that's exactly what I did!

Really sorry to hear about your loss, MC is so, so shit.

I had a very early MC in Jan and fell preg again in March. Unfortunately that ended in a MC (and D&C) in May and now I'm 12 weeks pg again (with my fingers very tightly crossed)

There is hope. I had a miscarriage at 10wks, had an ERPC on April 2nd and was pregnant again by the end of April. DS will turn 9 next month.

I have had two mc's 1 at 5 weeks and one 12+5. I got pregnant after both times my first proper cycle after the mc. I'm now 7 weeks xx

Yes, I miscarried the week before my wedding and fell pregnant on my honeymoon.

I was only 5-6 weeks so not sure if that had any bearing on it.

Yes, me too1 it confused friends who wondered why the pregnancy was going on so long.
