Tell me this is an evap line??

Seriously. We have had sex twice since DS2 was born, with condoms. He’s only four months and I’m exclusively breastfeeding. And, as mentioned, we used condoms. But I feel sick, so poas this afternoon and there is a definite red mark in the test window. It’s hard to see on the photo but it’s definitely there in the bottom, certainly. Evap line? Yes??

I can see it. Although it isn't in the middle of the window- the control line is also off centre so I think it could be positive. Frer will tell you for sure.

As it's off center I'd not take that as a BFP. Also I think surely if you're pregnant enough to be starting with sickness the line would stronger. Maybe another test tomorrow with FMU

Ah yes hadn't even noticed the control line is also off Centre. Hmm

I’ve always been sick before I’ve got a bfp before though. And I am drinking buckets of water atm as low carbing so urine is probably very dilute. I really don’t want to be pregnant right now. Retest tomorrow.

wifey good point about stronger line with sickness. By the time I had symptoms my lines were very dark.

Could I still have some HCG knocking around from DS2 after four months?

Ah sorry- x posts with op. Hope your next test is a bnf Flowers

Would say very unlikely to still have hcg in your urine after 4 months but I'm no expert.
I have had a couple of dodgy test results with hpt recently (TTC #2) so it might be a strange evap/faulty test.

Yeah I thought that but clutching at straws. Hopefully just the test playing up. We have literally no physical, emotional or financial capacity for a third child at the moment. And I am meant to be going back to uni in May to finally finish the most interminable medical degree in history because I keep taking time off to have babies. I don’t even know if they’ll let me take another year off. Argh.

Looks like an evap to me. I can see it if I really squint but it’s not central so I would take it as a negative

I'm on the other side of the situation today. Very faint squinters I hope are the real deal. Hope we both get the outcome we want!

Oh good luck Sauv - will send all the baby vibes in your direction. I remember how excited I was this time last year - on tenterhooks trying to work out if I was imagining the line that meant DS2 was on the way!

Thank you! And good luck to you for a bnf tomorrow (I don't say that so often in these parts!).

Hope you got the bnf you were after Cesare. Looks like a chemical for me this month. Onwards and upwards!

I can see it’ and if you look at the other line it’s not in the middle of the circle. I’d say it’s positive. My daughter was 4months old when I had sex once and later got a faint line on a hpt.... my daughter now 8 and that faint line is her 7yo brother 😁

Did you re-test OP Cesare?

Report
MajesticWhine · 25/11/2017 10:27

I don’t think it’s a BFP

How did you get on OP?

Ah sorry Saturday - good luck for next month Flowers. I still don’t know - had a faint but more definite line yesterday on a Lloyd’s cheapie but this morning’s FRER was negative. So no idea what’s going on really. Of course having totally freaked out about having another baby I was then disappointed this morning Hmm. But realistically hoping it stays negative as lovely though another one would be I have no idea how we would cope.

Ah it's a tough one when you think you might be, whether or not it fits with the plan it plays on your emotions I think. A negative frer is a very good sign though. Not sure if lloyds are renowned for evaps but I've had evaps on IC and sainburys tests in recent times (very convincing ones with colour) but negative frers. Fingers crossed Flowers
