Anyone got negative FRER at 12DPO

TheGrumpySquirrel · 12/11/2017 13:46

I caved and bought more FRER, desperate for it to be my month even though all the signs are against me.

I just tortured myself by watching one develop. I normally do this, rather than just look after 3 mins, but usually there is nothing happening even during development. This time there was a line! Then once fully developed, no line! FFS I know it’s probably just the dye being pulled over the indent but of course it means I start hoping again. At 12DPO a FRER should be a clear positive so please talk me down??

(Ovulated on cd17 confirmed by temps. Temp still up but doesn’t mean much at 12DPO. Af due tomorrow/Tuesday.)

Me! I've never had a bfp before cd13. Had a bfn on a frer then a bfp a day later. Good luck Smile

I'm alright thanks grumpy, cracking on. No bfp since last mc in Feb. Fx for you!

Thanks a lot Anne. I hope you get your BFP soon. Are you having investigations now? I’m seeing my GP on Friday as it will soon be a year of trying for us.

I don’t want to get your hopes up (as someone who’s had a couple of MCs I’m a grumpy realist 😄) but I feel like I can see something. 🤞🏼

Thanks guys.. I see the line but I don’t think it counts as it had disappeared by the 3 min full development time

I had this the other day, grumpy! It disappeared when 3 minutes had passed but was there while developing. Very odd.

Me... possibly 12dpo today. Peed on a frer and zilch. Kicking myself for not waiting until tomorrow morning(which was the plan when I bought the bloody things)! I also could be 28dpo. Opks reckon I ovulated twice in a cycle! Fun times!
Itchy boobs today and cranky as hell... and enough cm to sink a ship! Deeeelicious!

My eyesight is rubbish, so I have to take a photo of my tests and zoom in! Just had another look at this, potentially a tiny line? Eyes please

@Somethininthewater I really can’t tell if there is something or not on yours. This is what mine looked like after it finished developing. I’ve got normal pre AF CM so not getting my hopes up at all.

I can see the line on the first test, but nothing on the second.

Hoping for a clear positive in the morning for you x

Just got a BFN at 12dpo and a BFP 14 dpo this month. Still a bit worried as it was a faint line but fingers crossed.

Hi I just wanted to say this happened to me at 8-9dpo. It hadn’t been happening previously (I’m one of those obsessed testers) so when it happened I took another and it was the same, white line there but gone by 3 minuets. I made my partner take one and his didn’t do that. I googled does it mean it’s found hcg but not strong enough yet for a faint pink line, I found nothing’s. I tested again in 4 hours and to my shock there was a very faint second line. My lines got darker as the days went on and on 11-12dpo I had some spotting and thought for sure I was about to have a chemical pregnancy. However it stopped and I’m around 17dpo with very dark lines

Thanks Nikki I’ve been obsessively googling too and the consensus seems to be that this often happens with FRER while they are developing but it doesn’t mean anything as it’s just the dye going over the white indent. I think you got lucky x

Obviously I will keep you all updated but not holding out any hope given the temp drop this morning! Have a pad on waiting for AF to show.

Hello girlies!
I’m 12 dpi and iv been getting negatives for the past four days! Tho I’m suffering from morning sickness, some dizziness, boobs seem fuller and I have increased discharge as much as I have to keep running to the loo to wipe! TMI I know but I’m getting so confused and stressed, have any of you ever had a Bfp after getting a negative at 12dpo with any of those symptoms,, keeping my fingers crossed as we’ve been trying to conceive for 5 months now and iv never experienced these symptoms in my cycles until now 🥺
