Scared for ttc#2

Anyone else excited but equally scared to ttc #2? First time around I was just excited with no fear but this time around whilst I know I want another baby I'm scared/worried of the morning sickness, sleep deprivation, how my current child will handle it! Just wondered if this was normal?

I'm gong to be ttc next year however, I am ready but extremely nervous my dd is currently 1 and will be 18 months when we start.

When we were trying for her we just got on with it no fear no nothing

Hi OP, I’m 8 weeks with number 2, my DD is 2 and a half and we will have just over 3 years between them :) I think you just have to go for it, if you’re ready for another just think of it as another chapter to all the things you’ve had to learn already with number 1! Challenges will come and go whatever stage you’re at :)

Yes totally!! My baby will turn one in 3 weeks and we want to start TTC again from them. At times I’m excited but mostly just terrified! He was unwell last week with Hand foot and mouth and up every 2 hours at night and I was a mess, not sure I can go back to having a newborn who does that for months! I’m also scared I’m not going to be able to handle 2 as he takes up all my time as it is, keep having 2nd thoughts and considering putting off til hes 18 months but think we are just going to crack on in case it takes a while to TTC!!

Totally scared here too! (Even though I was the one who suggested we TTC again already!)

This will be #2 and our DS is only 4 months but I've always wanted kids close together.

So nervous about how I will cope with the reality though
