Not too sure what to do really . Couple of friends are HCP and both are strongly AGAINST ov tests, say can be inaccurate and will just make me obsess (even more) however I can't help but feel it's worth a try ?

If you used ov tests do you feel they were a positive or a negative ? Did it help you feel in control or go against all the advice of "relax and it will happen" ?!

Have been trying for DC2 since June, periods regular almost immediately after coming off depo.

Are you having regular consistent sex throughout your cycle? If yes then no, don’t OPK as it won’t make a difference.

If you aren’t and are relying on an app to tell you when you’re fertile then I would highly recommend OPK for a few cycles to see where you ovulate.

The clearblue digital ones for me are the most useful and there’s no guess work.

Do whatever you want to do!

Some people find using opks and charting etc stresses them out more but some people like it and find it reassuring. Everyone is different!

Personally I have quite irregular cycles so I find doing all of that works really well for me. I am also the sort of person that loves stats and graphs and knowing the science behind it all so actually quite enjoy it.

One of my friends suffers from anxiety and found it only added to her ttc stress and stopped. She also had pretty regular cycles so didn’t really need to do it. As I said, do what works for you.
