Implantation bleeding or period

Just need some advice because I am so confused and sick of turning to google for the answer! I got a positive ovulation test result on the 27th and the 28th of October; this changed to a negative on the 29th October. Me and my partner had sex on the 28th, 29th and 30th October. I thought I had started my period yesterday as there was a bit of blood when I wiped; I thought nothing of it and used my sanitary products as normal. I use pads on a night and this morning when I went to to the toilet there was no blood on the pad (this isn’t out of the ordinary for me) but a little bit when I wiped so I put a tampon in and went about my day. I’ve just been to the toilet and removed my tampon and there was only the absolute smallest speck of faint blood on it. Normally when I start my period it is very heavy for the first few days but the bleeding seems to have stopped now. Am I getting my period or could this be implantation bleeding? It’s been 12/13 days since I got my positive OPK so I’m not sure if this is too late for it to be implantation bleeding. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Smile

The only way to know is to wait unfortunately. It does sound like your af however so fx that it’s not. X

MouseLove I know you’re right and I will just have to wait and see what happens in the next few days.

LookingAtTheStars89 that’s so spooky haha! Fingers crossed for you Smile

I don't remember dates but I definitely had an implementation bleed with ds. I thought it was another wonky period but the bleeding was very light and intermittent for only a couple of days, then nothing. Fingers crossed for you!

Sounds like implantation bleeding. I believe I had it on 12dpo but I already got a bfp on day 8-9 so made no sense to me however like yours it Was a tiny amount of blood mixed with mucus. You should test asap

OwnedbySWD thank you.**

Nikki2ol6 I don’t want to test too early and be disappointed with a BFN though so I think I’m gonna wait until the weekend is over and see if AF has turned up; if not then I will test on Monday morning I think.* I’m hoping I am but only time will tell I guess. It’s the first month I’ve actually tracked my ovulation so I’ll be surprised if I get a BFP.*

Only way is to wait, as others have said, but good luck

Thank you. I’m so impatient but I’d rather wait and be certain AF isn’t arriving before wasting a test

I could do with help on this top- I had what i thought was a normal period about 10 days ago but my boobs didn't go down after. Did lots of pg tests at the time as i was obsessing a bit as I spotted 10dpo. Thought it was my iron tablets making them big (just been diagnosed as anaemic) and though i would take a test to rule it out before I obsessed all this month and I got a bfp. Totally shocked and confused! Is it possible to have a normal period and be pregnant? Defo wasn't light bleeding! I found out after the gp shut tonight so have to wait to Monday to ask if it's possible to have a false positive :(

Sammyclaire22 I have a friend who didn’t know she was pregnant until she was in labour because she was having periods as normal and didn’t get any symptoms or anything. It is possible to get false positives but it’s rare; I think it only happens due to some drugs and if you have blood/protein in your urine. Congratulations though (hopefully Smile)

Thanks- that's reassuring! Fingers crossed! Never managed a bfp before and was referred last friday to fertility centre of all things. Ive done 3 separate pg tests to be sure it's consistent (clearblue says 2-3 weeks!) but now just have to wait to see if it's real. Getting a coeliac blood test tom as they think that's the cause of my anaemia so need to see the gp regardless. I will update if it's really real then for all those that obsess like me over bleeding/ spotting.

I had implantation bleeding with my first child

But if browny- red bleeding about 2 days before my period was due just thought it was a bit early. Then it stopped after a day and I tested a few days later

Okay so I know I said I was gonna wait until Monday but I thought what the hell, no harm in testing now. Have I gone crazy or is there a really faint second line?

There's a website somewhere where you can upload POAS pics and fiddle with exposure settings or get fresh eyes on it.
