Hey I’m 7 days late for my period and took an at home test with a very faint positive line (I’m attaching the picture). Does this look like I’m pregnant or a false positive?

Faint positive line

Doctor told me you can get a false negative but never a false positive. If it's faint it's positive, it's just early in the pregnancy. I was one day late when I took a test at the hospital which had the faintest wiser of a line. It was positive, it's just that you don't have as many HCG pregnancy hormones in the early stages. Congratulations!!

I really hope so! Will make an appointment with my doctor and do another test in a day or two just to make sure. Thanks Smile

Don't waste lots of money on tests. Once you get a line, faint or vivid, it matters not. You ARE pregnant.
In order for the line to show you have to have HCG hormones in your urine. You only get these if you are pregnant. This is why you CANNOT get a false positive result. You can get false negative, for example if your urine is too dilute to contain enough HCG to make the coloured line react.
So, do a wee in a jug or something in the morning ( your first wee) and put the stick in. If you are pregnant you will get a line. Once you have that line you don't need to do another 25 tests. It's just a waste of money-- and you will need your £££ as babies cost a fair bit!
Good luck!
