I’ve not posted on the long running threads as I’m not a regular on there. Anyone else in the same boat? I feel pretty happy and positive, my dr said as we already have a DD there is a very low chance it will happen again, but I’m worried about the journey ahead. We had a MMC at 12 weeks and I found it really traumatic.

I’m not in the same boat now but I was last year - ds was born fit and well following a mmc at a similar time to you. I didn’t relax for a long time into the pregnancy (if at all really) and found the first couple of months horrendously stressful. One thing that helped me relax a little was having a private early scan at 7/ 8 weeks. Good luck I hope you have a smooth uneventful 9 months Flowers

Thank you Wish, I’m glad it worked out for you it’s nice to hear a positive story Flowers
I will have a look at early scans. Stupidly I stumbled upon a page of recurrent miscarriage statistics earlier so already worried. Note to self, stay off google Sad

Hi mossy congratulations on your BFP.
I had MMC back in Feb found out at 12 weeks bean had got to 8+4. Already had DS1.

I got a positive back in end of July and am currently 18 weeks. Had a bleed at 12 and spotting until 16 weeks and luckily all is ok.

Good luck it is a daunting time but the odds should be on your side. X x

Thank you for the reply, sunshine. Hope your pregnancy continues to go smoothly Flowers
Is there anything you did that you think helped? I’m going to ring my GP tomorrow to see if there are any supplements or similar I could take. I’ve heard something about taking an aspirin every day, but I don’t want to try anything without some proper advice.

No but the month of my BFP I started exercising. Didn't do anything differently apart from that. Oh and didn't do any opks just had sex as and when (only 3 times around ov) didn't do it everyday for a week or anything.

Good luck x
