45. been ttc for a year after losing one at 44. not counted cycles but think this must be 13 or so coming up.... 2 adult dc in their 20s. in reality im coming to terms with it not happening. nature sort of lured me into a false sense of security conceiving at 44 so while im quite resigned to it not happening there seems little point in going back to contraception just yet.

I'm 36 with 2 sons aged 13 and 16, Iv now been TTC for 15 months since I got my coil removed. So far Iv had no luck, I just constantly feel like it's never going to happen again this month my period came a week early? (Never happened before) I usually have a 28 day cycle and this has never happened before!! It wasn't like a usual period tho, it lasted 48 hrs and i only noticed the blood when I wiped apart from the 2nd day when I noticed a spot on my pants ..it never came to much so it has left me worried anyway I waited until the day my period was due and tested negative ..Iv contacted my nurse and she got me to take some swabs, booked me an appointment for the doctor in 2 weeks time to take some bloods and she asked me to retest in a week!! My period is now 4 days late and I am still testing negative ...my last period was 5/10/17 ..I think I ovulated 20/10/17 I then had a slight bleed on the 26/10/17 for 48hrs ...my period was then due 03/10/18 but it's still not arrived 4 days later!! Was this an early period or spotting?!
