@UnicornsandRainbows1 I’m sure what you described isn’t abnormal for mc blood. Mine was like that too. Have your periods been “normal quality” blood since?

I hardly had any clots at all with mine. Just one big one that the sonographer said would have been the placenta. Mine was at 12+5 baby died at 9+5 and after my waters breaking and baby passing it was just all blood, it seems to be over too quick. I was sure i would have had retained products but that was it.. That's why i sometimes feel like it didn't happen to me. Weird.

Ooh house shopping :D that sounds fun!

I think it varies so much for everyone. Most likely you aren’t going to be able to infer anything from the MC process itself so I wouldn’t worry about that.

Yes blue I feel so good about looking for a bigger place! It’s also a great distraction 👍🏼

@TheGrumpySquirrel The first one was pretty light, but the second one was heavier, but normal I would say. Took an extra day to stop but it was light by that point

Unicorn was it you who posted the ovia pics... where you spotted for many days? Was it the cycle after you mc?
I'm worried i started spotting yesterday and it's continuing even now. I never ever spot x

@BlueeSpottyTiger It was yeah. Do you need it to look at again? :) I've never really done either until MC. Mine started on cd10, 5 days after AF ended, and lasted on and off for about 5 days :/

Yes I was told late mc usually genetic but ours wasn't and apparently to lose a genetically normal baby at 12 weeks is v rare. Great just what you want to hear right?

This is the first AF after D&C the month before.

Erm, I had 2 AFs so third cycle? I think it works out at that but I think this is the only one I stood somewhat of a chance in, and I understand that I'm very, very fortunate right now. It felt like a lifetime and honestly, personally, I just got extremely lucky and I have a lot of thankfulness for that.

Unicorns I had a few really large clots like 5-8cm ball like (absolutely disgusting and prob tmi) after my second ERPC which I had to make sure stopped before i was discharged... they said if it didn’t stop it was a sign of infection. Thankfully there wasn’t anymore like that after those. My first AF recently was crazily heavy and I had so many clots for the whole 5 days of my cycle... it’s was also disgusting but I was told to expect that with my first AF so I want too worried.

Also get this totally random but... we have a friend of a friend staying in our spare room tonight (doing a friend a favour) - we don’t even know this guy. Anyway... He’s just gone into our bathroom and ran himself a bath!!! Yes a fcking bath in our bath!!! How weird is that!! There’s a perfectly large shower there to use... why would anyone have a bath in someone else’s bath/house who you don’t even know when we are also here!!! It’s not like he’s here alone and having a a bath... and it’s not just a quick dip either... he’s been in there for at least half a freakin’ hour.. he’s having a soak in OUR bath!!! I can actually hear him splashing around!!! OMG some freakin’ people 🙈😫🤣
Rant over lol

@Haybay1 That makes me a bit reassured. I guess I was never expecting clots, so for them to be so many quite sizable ones has kind of stuck with me.

Also who the fuck even DOES that? Is it joined to your room or right by it? Fuck That, I'd be way to nervous to even have a shower in a barely acquaintance's house. Guy has serious (completely weird and deranged) guts

Unicorns yes honestly wouldn’t worry if they’ve stopped. I had a consultant review last week for a cyst on one of my ovaries and I told him about my heavy first af and about all the clots I have with it for 5 days and he said he would expect that after MC etc and it was completely normal. Hopefully I won’t have that at all or much of that with my 2nd AF next month (fingers crossed for a BFP and no AF next month lol).

I know right!!! Wtf what a weirdo.... it’s literally our bathroom upstairs (we just a washroom / toilet downstairs too) we don’t have ensuits so it’s not like he’s even got the bathroom to himself - it’s across the hall from our room!!! I swear he’s probably had a beer from our fridge too with the cheek of him haha Shock

@beanhunter I’m sorry. I don’t know if mine was or wasn’t, they didn’t test. I was told that if I had stayed in Spain they would have tested as its routine there. Sometimes I guess it’s better not to know in these situations. Hugs 🤗

It’s my last day in office for the week as I’m wfh tomorrow. Feeling a bit more optimistic but then I always do in the first half of cycle! This is cycle 6 now, and I conceived in 3 cycles last time. It’s got to happen soon right?

I'm seeing my GP again about my hormone levels. Tmi, but my period blood this cycle looked old rather than fresh. I think I'm low in progesterone, which can actually be a cause of MC. If she won't test, I'm going to try and find somewhere private that will. I've got a horrible feeling that it's going to take us ages to conceive.
@Haybay1 the only place I'd ever have a bath other than home is in a hotel or at my parents' house! That's so random.

@Haybay make sure he doesn't get too comfortable!!! Sounds like someone who might not realise he's overstayed his welcome....

I'm.on cd7 now. Last month I was having loads of cm by this point and got positive Opk on cd8. So hopefully this might mean I'm getting back to normal. On the cycle I conceived I ov'd on cd21. I'll feel like my body is ready to conceive again when it's a bit later. I'd had 3 AFs since MC but they have been very short so not counting those as proper chances.

@Juancornetto good luck! I’ve booked all sorts of drinks events in December as I’m not assuming anything will have happened by then... hopefully I’ll need to find excuses.

My due date was 10th December, obviously would love to be pregnant by then but also worried about being either 6 or 10 weeks over Christmas and things going wrong again after my terrible experience in A&E last time. However will just have to cross that bridge etc.

Next ov day will be between 29 oct (cd15) and 4 Nov (cd21). Hope it’s a bit earlier this cycle! Last cycle was torture as I thought I had ovulated on cd19 when actually it was cd21.
That means next AF could be as early as 11 Nov or as late as 17 Nov. I hope earlier so I get another chance to POAS before my due date, if this cycle is also unsuccessful

@Grumpy I'm trying same - lots lined up that would be more convenient if I wasn't pg to lessen the frustration. I feel I've spent I lot of this year putting things off because we haven't known what's happening with my sister. Now I'm just planning things and will deal with it if I am Pg.

It's hard at times now that I'm in that phase that other people would've known. Even if i conceived this month it wouldn't be in time to tell people for Christmas now. I just keep telling myself that it's more likely than not that we'll have a baby by next Christmas.

Mine was the 5th December - hugs x
It would be more convenient for a bunch of reasons to not conceive for a few months, we're always super busy in summer with work and DD starts pre school July next year so would be nice to settle her into that for a bit before also hitting her with a sibling. But with my age and previous history our chance of conceiving at all is slim to non existent so I'll take whatever we're given! Grin

Exactly, it would be very bad in terms of pay review cycle for me to go off work in late Q3/early Q4 next year but at this point I’ve stopped caring about timing and just want to get pregnant at whatever point I’m able to. Gutted I won’t be over 12 weeks by Christmas regardless now. 10 at best, more likely to be 9 if ovulation is also late this cycle. However will probably tell close family anyway if I am pregnant at Christmas as it will be obvious with not drinking. Totally getting ahead of myself clearly!
