When should I test. I'm getting my hopes up!!

I've only just started tracking my periods so I've no idea if I'm late or not but the first day of my last period was 6th September.

According to the calculator I've used, if I had a 28 day cycle I'm late.

I know I should just test but I'm really trying not to get obsessed this early on in the process.

Any opinions on if it's still possible for my period to be 'on time'?

I'm in exactly the same boat...last period started 6th Sept and Ovia says I'm now cd34 and have taken a few tests all negative!! Anything up to 35 days is deemed normal though.

Are you having any symptoms? I had cramping in the 2ww like AF was coming, but since being officially 'late' the cramping has stopped and I now have sore nips and an increase in discharge.

I'm probably going to try and wait another few days and then test again...its only our first month properly TTC and I'm already struggling to not obsess

Spades it's so hard isn't it. I know it could take a while as DH didn't conceive his DS for 2 years so I know if I start getting dissapointed in month 1 I'll drive myself mad.

Lorddennig I have no idea as I've never tracked them before.

gnomes neither DH or I have ever had a child so no idea how fertile (or otherwise) we are. I also have never really tracked my cycles before so not sure of my 'normal'.

We are both in our late 20s so hoping time is on our side. My DM keeps making references to how quickly and easily she conceived all 4 of us. Nothing like piling the pressure on eh...

Have you decided when you're going to POAS? Hope it happens quickly for you

I feel your pain, I've just done our first home insemination two weeks ago come Thursday, my period is due on Sunday and I've had so many symptoms I feel like I'm going crazy, I've felt so queezy and I had a really strange taste in my mouth which lasted around an hour or so it was like if you placed a coin in your mouth, it was horrible , I've also been smelling things a lot stronger than usual! But I'm refusing to test until I'm late by a week as I really don't want the dissapointment, I feel it's all in my head lol! Wishing you all lots of luck xxx

Spades I'm not sure. I had a really bad couple of days of grumpiness at the weekend so I have it in my head it was PMT and I'll start this week.
I really don't want to waste a test but they are sat there taunting me.

DH bought clear blue as that's all they had so if it's negative I'll only convince myself it's the test

Ah right, then I would say any time after 35 days, if it's negative I would give myself another week and then book with the doctor to get the tablet to incite a bleed, good luck ladies :)

Well I couldn't sleep so I took a test

It was negative
