I'm new to mumsnet and have never done a pregnancy test before so am confused about the result as the second line is very faint or maybe I'm imagining it.... Can anyone else see it?!

My period is not due for 4 days, I only did the test because I had no symptoms and usually I can feel my period coming a week before it arrives!

Is this a line?

That is a line! That’s quite a dark line for such an early test - are you sure you’ve got your dates right? Grin

Congratulations! Flowers

That looks like a line to me!

A faint line is still a line.

What were you hoping the answer to be?

OK, it sounds like youre excited! In that case, congratulations!

My line was much fainter than that. My "faint line" is now out at her drama lesson! Grin

Now, find work out what date youre due, and go find the MN antenatal thread.

I'm just in shock at the moment I didn't really think about whether I wanted it to be positive or negative but subciously I must have wanted it to be positive otherwise I wouldn't have done the test early. We use withdrawal so both knew this was a possibility. Just going to let it sink in before I do anything I think!

And I know withdrawal is not contraception but we've been together a long time so it suits us...
