Hi.. so unfortunately 2 weeks ago I miscarried at roughly 5weeks 4days. I bled for around 6 days. After I stopped bleeding I started with ovulation sticks and nothing yet. I just wanted to hear your experiences. My partner and I have decided we want to try again straight away as we feel it's the only thing that will get us through this. Thanks in advance

Hi Kkk87 I'm in the same boat, except it's my second mc in a row. I'm having some ewcm but nothing on opks yet. (It's been 2 weeks since mc started, bleeding finished a week ago). I'm not sure I'll ovulate this month at all. Bit gutted - really hard to wait after hope has been snatched away. Thinking of you guys...

Thanks for your reply. This was my first pregnancy and we are both absolutely devastated we lost it. I was hoping to ovulate roughly 2 weeks after bleeding. It's been 9 days so far. I just wanted to see what happened with other people. It really is so disheartening and hard to stay positive

Hey Kkk87 I am so sorry for your MC and I know it can bring you down but please be positive. Regarding your question I sadly had a stillborn at 26 weeks and took me about two months to ovulate. Doctors told me It can take 2-8 weeks to start running a proper cycle again. I don't want to be negative at all but I just want to help you manage your expectations, I think you will be better on a MC rather then a SB. Will pray for good news for you Smile

It took 10 weeks before I ovulated, but I conceived again 3 months after we lost our first baby.

The next cycle but 2 days later than usual. Day 14 not day 12.
Sorry for your loss.

Hiya op. So sorry to hear of your MC. It's really an awful time to go through.
I mc in July at 6 weeks 2d. I bled for a week (just a normal period really). Then pretty much 2 weeks to the day after I stopped bleeding I got positive opks and managed to conceive during that window. I am 9+4 and am very nervous still but praying it works out. I've had 2 very good private scans so far.
Wishing you all the luck ttc again x

Thank you all for your replies and I am sorry for your losses too. It really is just awful.. nothing really prepares you for it.. it seems everyone is completely different regarding ovulation after MC.. suppose I just need to let nature take its cause and be patient and most importantly positive. I just hope once I do fall pregnant again I can't control the worry that will come with it .. xx

Sorry for your loss.

It was about five weeks after my first mc (14 weeks) and 20 days after my last one (9 weeks). However, I did conceive in my third cycle after my first one and in the cycle immediately after my last one.

@Kkk87 I'm so sorry for your loss. It's such a sad and painful experience. My first pregnancy miscarried at a similar stage (after a year of trying) and I bled for about a week too. We didn't make a conscious decision to try/wait immediately but I used the ovulation sticks two weeks after and it said I wasn't ovulating. That was when we actually got pregnant again Smile (maybe because the pressure was off as I didn't think we could?). DD is almost 3 now.
Keep positive x

Just after some advise please.
I had a chemical pregnancy on 13th September. Bled for a week like a normal period but am still spotting now (day 12)
How long will this go on for and when will I ovulate again?

Kkk87 · 25/09/2017 13:25

Thanks everyone for your replies. I'v been doing my OPK's every day and today I had quite a dark line (not quite as dark as control line) I don't think it was a positive but do you's think it will get darker from today or can it just fluctuate and could it actually be lighter again tomorrow?

Kkk87 · 25/09/2017 21:08

Thank you.. I took another one a few hours later and that one definitely seemed positive.. so I've keeping everything crossed
