No smiley face on clear blue ovulation, no af

Hi there, despite having positive ovulation results before, this month I tested for a week around expected time and had no smiley face. I expected af yesterday or today based on cycle but no show yet. Not sure if I didn't ovulate or ovulated later, hence on af yet. Any ideas???

Would be grateful for any input. I'm new to site so not sure how it all works. Have moments where I feel af like cramps but most of the time nothing at all.

Sorry @windy2909 I've never tested for ovulation, just followed the signs my body gives me so I can't help. But I hope someone else comes along soon to help you. In the meantime can you do a pregnancy test if af hasn't shown up?

Hi windy I tested with opks and never got a smiley face... In fact I got pregnant when it was showing as negative! I'm not using them at all this time- just using the 'clue' app, and dtd as much better as possible in those 8-10 days.
If AF was due yesterday or today, it could be just late. Sometimes the stress of TTC will delay its onset. Did you dtd during the fertile window despite the negative test results?

Hi there, thanks for replies. Did test today and negative so must just be late. Dtd during just in case but no joy. Been trying for over a year now so just another disappointment. Went to docs and arranged to get bloods at 21 days of cycle. Was hoping I wouldn't get to that stage ☹️

Dont panic! This happened to me last month.

I waited a week and then my ovulation discharge happened and I tested with Clearblue and it turned to a flashing smiley face.

Sometimes your ovulation can randomly be late.

Test it using symptoms from your body eg discharge if thats what you get.

Also remember u have to test in the morning with clearblue.

Good luck! :)

And sometimes we have cycles where we just don't ovulate. Have one a year is very very normal.
