First Timer - Superdrug test

Hi lovely Mumsnetters. So it's my first time TTC, AF is due in 4 days but like many I'm waaaaay too impatient to wait that long. Also I've had an unusual skin break out and a terrible thirst, both very out of the ordinary for me.
I've just take a Superdrug "early dectection" test, as you can see from the photo. Do you guys think I've cause to be quietly optimistic?

Yes I think so, I can see a faint line there. Congratulations if so and hope all goes well for you!

@Vicsteur81 these tests are really bad for false
Positives! Look up the reviews on the super drug website! Try a first response early response test x

Before you were TTC were you on any contraception? If so how long have you been off it?
Could be the change?

But if that test is positive (I'm not familiar with them) then whoop 😊 x

Thanks @RanndomUsernameHere , you know when you need someone else to have a look, but equally don't want anyone close to know just yet.

@fluffykitties I'll check out the first response tests. Will no doubt end up doing another tomorrow and the next day and the one after! Blush

@JAG78 I've been off the pill since October 2016 so should be out of my system.

Picked up a frer today, nothing. Still a couple of days until AF and my body is all over the place. Going to still on my hands and hope for now. It's only cycle 1 so to be fair I think maybe my body is just having a WTF at the changes going on.
I've learnt so much from the forum already though, it's so useful and supportive. Smile

The more I loiter about this forum the more bad press I see about those Superdrug tests! To be avoided from now on. AF due tomorrow and I'm all crampy and achey in the back, so not looking good. Ah well onwards and upwards.
