I have around a 21 day cycle and by those dates my period is 13 days late. By a "normal" 28 day cycle I am 6 days late.

So as not to drip feed we have a PFB conceived within 6 months with no issues and have been trying for number 2 for nearly 4 years. We have had fertility tests, DH fine, I have an AMH of less than one. Failed IVF last October, currently on waiting list for donor eggs.

I never been late except for last pregnancy. Numerous pregnancy tests have come back negative. How long would you leave before a trip to GP for a blood test?

Thanks!!

No need to leave it much longer before going for a blood test I wouldn't have thought. By 13 days late you should really be showing as positive if that was the case. I hope you get some answers soon x

I'm in the same boat -- though only 4 days late.

Once I missed a period completely. Rang the GP about it. She was completely unbothered, said not to worry.

Good luck.

Thanks for the replies ladies. I merrily POAS morning noon and night as I need to get rid of them before the fertility treatment starts. Had my first squinter with FMU this morning. Will retest in morning. Not getting my hopes up!

My main concern is if they won't start the fertility treatment without a definite negative. I'll see if it comes next week then maybe ring the clinic.

Fingers crossed your squinter becomes less of a squinter and more of a certain in the morning x
