Been trying to conceive for 6 months since 2 consecutive miscarriages. Period is now 4 days late but still getting bfn's!! I keep thinking my period is coming as I keep getting gushes of milky discharge!

I'm wracking my brains here and don't know what is going on! Also have lower back pain and the odd cramp here and there! Anyone else ever experienced this& what was the outcome?

I feel being pregnant is out the windowsadSurely a hpt would show a bfp by now?

Mumofawarrior12 Sun 14-May-17 19:33:58

Hi user
Sorry about the mc's.
I had lots of thick dc when I was pregnant with my first DS along with cramps and back ache and sickness.
I know everyone is different but sounds positive.
Do you know if you ov this month? X

RedPanda25 Sun 14-May-17 21:28:56

Could you maybe have ovulated later and therefore it be too early to show on a test?

18mnthsandcounting Sun 14-May-17 21:33:17

I'm having similar symptoms going to wait a couple of days to retest. Ive had cramping since ovulating on and off, scared I may be having a miscarriage again however last time I miscarriaged it didn't feel like this cramping. AF is probably on way! Take a test in a few days?

user13345556 Sun 14-May-17 21:38:25

I think I did ovulate late as I didn't have stringy discharge till about a week after ov should of occurred. My nan passed away 2 days ago and I've been an emotional wreck! I've just had a urge to test & this is what has happened? Help ladies what does this look like to you?

RedPanda25 Sun 14-May-17 21:42:36

Oh I'm so sorry about your nan @user13345556 😢 what a awful couple of days for you!

I think I see a faint line on the test!! Could you test again in the morning with FMU?

18mnthsandcounting Sun 14-May-17 21:48:23

I can see faint line also sorry to hear about your nan

user13345556 Sun 14-May-17 21:51:46

I'm gonna test again in the morning! My sister is currently 9 months pregnant we both fell pregnant together but I lost my angel. Ever since I've been so low, my nan passed away holding my hands 2 days ago & I'm hoping a piece of her soul has now jumped into my body.

It would bring such a positive to such a sad time for us all, I would truly believe this was my nan as she was heartbroken when I had my miscarriages and new I longed for a baby

Pray for me ladies

18mnthsandcounting Sun 14-May-17 21:53:51

I've just looked at the test again and there is defiantly a pink line, I can't believe it.

I need to see a strong line and then I will believe

I really hope you get a stronger bfp.
Fingers are crossed for you xxx

user13345556 Mon 15-May-17 08:09:37

Just tested again, still a faint line. It's a little darker than yesterday but not much darker but I have only tested 12 hours apart!

It's really hard to pick up the line but hope you can see and give me your views?

Still don't want to get my hopes up
_
Bottom test is from this morning just so you can compare between the 2 - top test is a bfn from a few days ago._

Thanks ladies

Do you think a clear blue digital would pick up the pregnancy?

BagelDog Mon 15-May-17 09:03:47

I can see a line there! Clear blue digital aren't the most sensitive of you are maybe quite early after ovulating, a pink eye test like first response might be your best bet. Congratulations!!

BagelDog Mon 15-May-17 09:04:19

Pink dye not pink eye.... blooming predictive text...

user13345556 Mon 15-May-17 09:20:24

Haha thanks bagel! I will retest again in the morning see if it's more noticeable.

I won't believe it until I see that dark line, I keep telling myself my eyes are playing tricks on me but Yet no AF here 🙊

user13345556 Mon 15-May-17 09:44:59

Any more eyes on this?

Rikalaily Mon 15-May-17 10:00:14

I see lines and they are darker lines than I got this time early on! Get a First response, I got a decent pink line on one of those before my period was even due and I had squinters on cheapy tests xx

Frazzled2207 Mon 15-May-17 10:17:58

I am a veteran of those tests. Don't want to get your hopes up but I see a faint line on that second batch, not the first though.
Fingers crossed, would not say it's enough of a line to be definitive. If you can bear waiting for 2 days between tests, next time should be a lot clearer.
Don't try the digital ones at this stage, I'd put money on them saying "not pregnant" as they are less sensitive than the cheapies.

Unfortunately I did find that ttc did weird and cruel things to my cycles to make me think I might be pregnant when in fact I wasn't. I'm hopeful that you might have a definite line in a day or two. flowers

happilyeverafta Mon 15-May-17 10:20:56

I can see a line on both those tests.

Hoping it gets stronger for you! X

user13345556 Mon 15-May-17 10:23:05

I am defiantly not getting my hopes us just yet, If I get a stronger line in a couple of days then maybe

NoWordForFluffy Mon 15-May-17 10:23:07

ICs are dire. Find yourself a FRER; I bet you'll get a nice dark line on one of those!

Good luck. 🍀

wakkapaca Mon 15-May-17 10:49:01

I think it looks positive! Don't waste your money on clear blue they have never worked for me even when I was 4 months pregnant! I only use pink dye tests! Get a Superdrug own brand they are amazing! Xx

user13345556 Mon 15-May-17 11:07:22

Ino I said I would wait till tomorrow but I've just tested again, I got a urge again. The funeral director is here for my nan and I ran the loo. I now have a strong positive. I can't stop crying

Frazzled2207 Mon 15-May-17 11:20:14

Bless you. Yes superdrug ones are a good alternative to try and very clear!

Gemxo Mon 15-May-17 11:46:07

...

user13345556 Mon 15-May-17 11:46:48

Gemxo - that is me btw and that's the test I've just done!! Eyes!?

Frazzled2207 Mon 15-May-17 11:54:27

Definitely upduffed.

user13345556 Mon 15-May-17 12:18:54

I can't believe it, it's my mums birthday today and they have just had to register the death. She said this is the worst birthday and she will always hate her birthday now after this day, should I tell her? Make this a happy day? Or would you still wait

Frazzled2207 Mon 15-May-17 12:27:21

I would tell your mum if you feel she'd like to know. You are pg but it's vv early days.

BettySmut Mon 15-May-17 12:35:37

That certainly looks positive!

Gemxo Mon 15-May-17 12:41:15

Maybe not as early days as I thought, look how strong this one is. I'm in utter shock

Juno2002 Mon 15-May-17 12:48:59

I've been getting very similar lines on ICs. I've done a few and they're getting slightly darker each day. I've read that you can be VERY pregnant and still only get rubbish lines on those tests. But I did an FRER yesterday and there's definitely two lines on it so would definitely recommend!

Juno2002 Mon 15-May-17 12:49:51

p.s. Congratulations!

Mumofawarrior12 Mon 15-May-17 12:53:30

Aww what wonderful news so happy for you hun. I would tell your mum it may help xx

DT2016 Mon 15-May-17 12:59:26

Congratulations 🎉

user13345556 Mon 15-May-17 14:12:43

Praying for a healthy pregnancy & baby now

purplechoc Mon 15-May-17 15:08:28

Congratulations! flowers

I would tell her with the caution of how early it is smile. I think it's okay to tell someone who would support you if something happened after today anyway. You're pregnant today though so enjoy!

resipsa Mon 15-May-17 16:41:08

Congratulations! I say tell her too (as someone who tried for ages and got pregnant when husband was in the middle of chemo) as it will give her something to hold on to that is positive.

18mnthsandcounting Mon 15-May-17 17:14:10

Amazing news so pleased for you!

Gemxo Tue 16-May-17 09:00:08

Progression since yesterday, bottom one from this morning. Are the lines getting darker I can't tell I stare for too long haha!

Still thinking bfp??

purplechoc Tue 16-May-17 09:16:58

They look like they're getting darker to me! Have you thought about doing a first response? I got a clear line on one 6 days before af

user13345556 Wed 17-May-17 09:15:23

My positive line is now darker than the control line, we are so happy. Going by the test how many weeks would you say I am, my last AF was 9th April. I did think I had ovulated late but maybe not?

See 2 tests compared over 2 days

RedPanda25 Wed 17-May-17 09:17:14

So pleased for you @user13345556! Could you do clear blue digital as that will give you an idea of how far along you are?

user13345556 Wed 17-May-17 09:19:21

Thank you red!! I have read loads of bad reviews about them saying waste of money and not accurate so wasn't sure whether to purchase one
