So frustrating trying to conceive after being on depo injection.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I am now on month 9 TTC. That's 9 months of stress and over-googling!

i feel your pain, i never ever want to go back on it. i have endless pains and feeling ill, ive had no period up until today but not sure if it is period as its stopped, it was very light but got cramps and very sore breasts. my last injection was in sept 16 so 7.5 months now. i hate seeing people say their pregnant or seeing bumps because i know mine wont be for a while and makes me so jealous lol xx

My periods went back to normal straight away, and I have a regular 26-27 day cycle. It's even more frustrating because I feel like it should be easier. But I'm beginning to wonder if I'm even ovulating at all!! Confused

It took me about 8 months to start ovulating after my last depo jab. I also had the pains and general feelings of being unwell , it's truly horrible and frustrating.

I don't have any advice to offer but I've been where you are and would never have the injection again. The bad far outweighs the good.

I've been on and off it for 9 years, with a couple of years on the implant, and a bit on the pill too on that time. At the time, I didn't actually want anymore children so I didn't really pay attention to any risks involved, I just knew I didn't want an unexpected pregnancy. I was only 16 at the time with a 3 day old baby and though "NEVER AGAIN" she's now coming up 9, and I am desperate to give her a little brother or sister.
I've had positive ovulation tests, and been checking CM etc. And I think I am ovulating. So whether I'm just getting my timings wrong, or an egg won't stick due to hormones or something I really don't know.
And I've got another year before a doctor will even speak to me about it!! Sad
