Should I be doing the test every day of the month or just around when I should be ovulating? I'm looking online to purchase some test strips and trying to figure out how many to get.

I only do them from cd12 until after I get a positive. When to start depends on the length of your cycle.

Thanks @Oysterbabe that certainly makes it more cost effective when buying the strips!
How do you keep track of the results? Do you use an app or jot it in a notepad?
Sorry for all the questions at the moment!

I used the glow app. Keeps a good track of your cycle and symptoms throughout the month. I used the cheap strips and tested at 2pm and 10pm and always caught a positive!!

There are lots of useful apps around. I take a photo of the test so that I can compare the darkness with previous days before they dry and fade.

I meant to say I use Ovia, you can enter any symptoms you have too.
