Opks and pregnancy

Can anyone help please I'm due AF in 6 days.
I ovulated last Tuesday/Wednesday have the opks to say I did 🙂.
Anywaysate Monday night/ early hours Tuesday I had some pinching, pulling and cramps ( thought it might be implantation) today I've had to stop myself from been sick twice whilst out. I have no pregnancy tests at home so thought right see if opk picks anything up and it has, both lines are of same darkness. Could this mean it's picked up pregnancy 🙂🙂.

Pics below of my opk I just done xx

Opks do not prove you ovulate, just that you got a surge of LH, which typically comes before ov. It might be that your body tried to ovulate, didn't, and is now attempting to do so again.

BBT is the only way to confirm ovulation has taken place.

7 dpo would be too early to pick up hcg (which opks can do because of structural similarity with LH), as most people implant at about 7 dpo.

Hope you get your positive. Still early days!

Oh and just call me a party pooper - but that opk isn't positive.

I'm 8dpo I deffo ovulated last week for sure as opks picked it up and had all the usual twinges that I get with ovulation. It won't let me upload a pic but that's wrong pic. On the opk in front of me both line are of same darkness x

@Sazwest on your other OPK thread I've got to say I never thought any of your tests looked positive so I would put bets on your ovulation being late and this being your ovulation now. I would be DTD just to cover yourself anyway just in case. As other posters have said, the only way to really confirm ovulation is temping x

I know what your saying the pics I posted don't look dark enough, I tested opks 3 times a day and got my positive dark 2nd line just before bed. But it wouldn't let me upload a pic 😢. X

I've felt implantation once. It wasn't agony. Are you sure??? I've had ovulation cramps that were uncomfortable (suspected cyst) and that wasn't agony either.

If you are in that much pain it might be something else and you should get checked out.

I agree, ovulation shouldn't be causing you agony!
I don't think I've ever really felt it before.

Test with the frer, but if I was you I'd hold off! Constant poas drives you insane! X

Implantation shouldn't be giving you that much pain either.
If it persists that severely I'd go and see your gp to be safe x

@goldielocks29 @physicskate the implantation pains where like someone was poking me with a sharp stick on and off for I'd say a few hours then I had a pulling sensation which lasted a while but it woke me up x

I think this shows that the OPKs weren't picking up pregnancy hormones unfortunately. If there was enough hormone to be detected by an OPK yesterday at 1 then it would be picked up by a FRER today.

Unless you are tracking your temps I think it's impossible to actually know you have ovulated and the sticks only measure the surge. I also get random pains throughout my cycle and they are not all ovulation. Hope you get your bfp soon.

@Oysterbabe it wasn't my fmu if was my 8th (I haven't drank anything before doing test apart from half a cuppa) I had to force the wee out to do it . The opk I done this morning both lines dark again.im still only 9dpo xx
