Mid-cycle bleeding for 1st time, worried! :(

Has anyone here ever had this before? A little history, I have had 4 children and my cycles have always been like clockwork. I've never ever had mid-cycle spotting or bleeding.

We've been thinking we might ttc this year so I started keeping track of my ovulation last few months with the Clearblue Digi Advanced OPK. I always got the surge between day 13 and 15, like clockwork.

This month I knew something was off when the surge never came. Today is day 17 and still no surge. I started having spotting and then light bleeding 3 days ago. I went to my OBGyn yesterday and she did an exam,, she said everything looks great physically, and that she really believes it's hormonal. :( I have to agree with her because the Clearblue is still showing no surge.

What the heck happened? Has this ever happened to you? We are planning on ttc this summer and now I'm freaking out. My sister just found out she's pg yesterday, and while I'm really happy for her I'm super depressed about myself right now. I'm grateful for the children I have but really hoping for 1 more, esp so that our last birth experience can be better than our last (our young son died suddenly, 3 days before I gave birth to our last child...so needless to say it was horribly sad and tragic and a nightmare. I want one more "happy" birth experience). :((((

I'm having a mid cycle bleed this week too. Ovulation was predicted for Tuesday but I stead I bled and it's gone on all Waskerley but only during day time. All negative ov tests too. From what I've read if you don't ovulate then you bleed. Fingers crossed next month is a positive month With ovulation. I'm taking seven seas trying for a baby vits to hopefully help regulate ovulation x

I'm sorry it's happening to you too but maybe we'll both feel better knowing it's not so uncommon! I'm on my 5th day of bleeding and it's like a medium flow period... still not showing LH surge so I know it's from not ovulating. I talked to another lady this happened to and she said the very next month her period went back to normal.... what is seven seas? Baby dust to you!!

It's a conception vitamin pill. Meant to balance out hormonal in balance and give you what you need to conceive. The reviews on amazon are brilliant so it's worth a try. I got 3x packs for around £12.
That good hopefully we are back to normal next month x
