I had an early scan with my missed miscarriage at 6 weeks @theotherendofthesockportal in which we saw a heartbeat so to find out at the 10 week scan that we had lost the baby at 8+4 is the hardest thing I've had to go to. I'm now part of a SIM (scratch in miscarriage trial) which means once I am pregnant I'll get a scan at 6,8,10&12 weeks but I know it won't reassure me until I get to that 12 week mark. Having gone through so many miscarriages I fear I'll never be able to enjoy a pregnancy and all the fun has been talking out of it. I don't find joy in telling people as I know they just think when will she miscarry again. I don't think I'll tell anyone next time around but sometimes when things go wrong I need the support of friends and family so it's a tough decision. X

I'm ttc again, after recurrent miscarriages. I'm 9DPO and feeling most unpregnant, no symptoms whatsoever. Testing Tuesday when I'm 12DPO.

Sorry to hear about how you found out at your scan Nicola, that must have feel really awful. Well done on getting back on the horse.

I can't ever imagine carrying a baby to term, but I'm just going to continue trying.

Hi Ladies joining in if that's ok. Had an MC in August at just under 11 weeks since then we decided to see what happens as our wedding was approaching. Think I had a chemical pg early Jan too. We have been married 2 weeks now and are just enjoying the last day of our honeymoon. Due to test on 13th as ovulated at the start of honeymoon which was great timing we have had some great fun in the sun lol. Good luck to all x

Welcome bump and purple, and I'm very sorry for your losses. You have landed in the right place here though, everyone has been so lovely since my mc last month. You're both testing about the same time as me (14th), provided AF doesn't appear first of course (she was due today)! Fingers crossed for us all :)

Regarding early scans, my EPU does an 8 week scan automatically if you have had a mc before; they gave me a direct line to book it. Do they not all do that? Or do you mean even earlier? I felt they took care of me so well at the EPU that I'd rather see my first scan there anyway, so if it's good they can celebrate with us and if it's not good, they'll know what to say (they really do!).

It was a beautiful spring day here in NI and I went on a 9 or 10 mile hike in a forest park with the dog (the goal being partly to tire him out lol, which I have acheived). This also took up a good chunk of the day and thus I have avoided going out and buying a couple of tests early Grin What is everyone else doing with their weekends? x

Hi WLM, thanks and sorry for your loss too. Sounds like you've had a fantastic day walking. I studied this and then we walked too and just finished watching the rugby. About to make a cake! I have lots of tests stored up but determined to to get em out til Tuesday. No symptoms yet anyhoo.
Hope we get some bfps amongst us.

Hey all - I just discovered this thread.

I thought I would share my story to encourage others. I do truly hope that it doesn't come across as gloating.

With a history of early miscarriages (5) and one late miscarriage (twins 19 weeks) I was pretty sure a live healthy baby was beyond me.

I am currently pregnant with baby number three after two succesful pregnancies and no miscarriages in between.

I hope you all find some joy today

Would like to join. One mc when started trying in oct 15 and then fell pg in jan but just had missed mc at 10 weeks after seeing hb at 7 weeks. Just feels incredibly shitty and unfair. All of our friends have young babies or are pg and just feels very very hard and like I'm going to go back to feeling total despair and depressed about it. Definitely going to go and talk to the counsellor and want to be positive as I hate feeling sad. Success stories and hearing of people who have been through same thing definitely helps you feel less alone and shit about yourself xx

I think I need to join rather than just lurking for another year Blush

Been TTC for two years, three miscarriages, and two chemicals. Diagnosed with stage three endometriosis last November. Was rather hoping a lap would speed things along a bit, but doesn't seem to be the case! Halfway through another two week wait, trying not to symptom spot too much. I was so convinced last month, and literally got my period ON the pregnancy test.

Good luck to everyone Smile

Just popping in to mark my place on the new thread. CD29 & still no AF. I had a moment earlier when I let myself actually believe it might happen but now I'm crampy again. I've been looking back at my chemicals & realised they were later than I thought so I may not test until the middle of next week, or maybe next weekend. I'm pretty sure that by this point the lines were quite light/barely even there so maybe I should just POAS - a dark line might reassure me!

Thanks for the kind welcome. Ive had a couple of symptoms firmer belly, pulling sensations & more dimples on my boobs. But then again it may well be af symptoms but if it is it's not my usual. It's tough as I remember the pulling sensation during the early weeks of my last pregnancy but as that ended in mc I'm so anxious with any symptoms

Tentatively joining. TTC #2 soon...have to wait one more cycle after very traumatic cervical ectopic pregnancy which nearly killed me. Going to need to put big girl pants on (or indeed, take them off!) to be brave enough to try again.
Good luck everyone x

Also place marking.
Currently cd31 after MMC and no idea where I am in cycle as I'm usually a very regular 28 days. Anxiously waiting for af... to test or not to test!?!

peony the test or not to test debate is such a struggle!

Did I do anything differently?

Unfortunately no, I didn't actually change anything. The one thing I did do though was I refused any scans/hospital visits until I was 12 weeks ( aside from the first booking in with midwife ) I really didn't want the constant hcg level monitoring etc.

Hi, just had a mmc, wasn't ttc, spent 12 years with unexplained infertility. Thought this was my miracle even though it was a shock. But maybe thinking positive I can get pregnant after thinking it wasn't possible
