Faint lines but digital test 'not pregnant' what is going on???

Hello everyone. I am sooooooo worried! And confused. Am I pregnant or not?!
Have anyone experienced this:

I think I am 13 dpo now and I started taking pregnancytests around 7 dpo. They were negative at 7 dpo and 8 dpo but at 9 dpo I got a really really faint line. hardly visible except for in really strong light.
At 10 dpo I got another faint line, a bit more visible, but still needed strong light. At 11 dpo they were still very very weak, but I thught they were a bit stronger than the previous day.

Yesterday was the first day where I had a line, still very faint, but even visible in normal light, like room a bit dark, light. Not needing to be directly under a lamp to be seen.
Today 13 dpo, it is almost the same as yesterday. can be seen in normal light, but is very very very faint, almost not visible.

I was sure that a digital test would show today since it says that they will show with 97 percent accuracy at 1 day before missed period. Ok im not 100 percent sure i am at 13 dpo. I might be at 12 dpo or 11 dpo or even 14 dpo.
The digital test came back saying 'not pregnant'. I am sooooo disappointed. What is going on with all these faint lines on tests that were negative a week ago. Why are they showing. Am I having an early miscarriage? I have called my midwife and on thursday i will take a test there. But i am so caught up in this i cant wait to know for sure. I feel ive spent so much on tests, i want to wait atleast a couple of days before testing again. But to know a bit more about what is going on:

Have anyone had results like this and been pregnant, or not pregnant???

I opened up my clearblue digital, which i know youre not supposed to ;) and i saw three lines. one clear testline with a weaker line beside it and on the secound strip a third even weaker line.
I have read very mixed theories about this. As ive understood this might mean you are pregnant, but you might also not be. I guess you always have three lines in them if you are pregnant, it picks up if they are strong enough. They might become stronger for me, but i have also read people having three lines and not being pregnant.

With my faint lines on other tests, this feels a bit more optimistic for me. Maybe its just to early. But if im 13 dpo shouldnt it be positive. And also ive had faint lines on tests for like 4 days, ok 3 days where there are definitely lines, the fourth day (tuesday) was more of a shadow.

What do you think??? I know your answers are just speculation,,but these mixed results are driving me crazy. Anyone experienced the same things or something similair.???

Why don't you save your money and save yourself a whole of stress and wait and see if your period is late and then test?

I think you're testing too early and too often. I know how easy it is to fall into the trap but try to step away from the pregnancy tests. It's an expensive mind f*ck!

Test on the first day of your missed period and every few days until AF arrives or you get a BFP, if you can't bear the agony.

Fingers crossed!

I would say just chill out and wait a few more days. Either you're pregnant or you're not, there's not a whole lot you can do about it so stop stressing yourself out as t won't be helping!

Digital tests aren't as sensitive as some of the others.
If you insist on testing, can you get one of the more sensitive ones?

I just found this breakdown with a quick google, although it's a few years old now.

"These were from a UK website:

IC's usually 10 mIU/ 25 mIU (although this is questionable!)
One step High sensitivity - 10 mIU
Superdrug - 10 mIU
First Response Early Response - 12.5 mIU
Sainsbury's own - 15 mIU
Tesco own - 25mIU
Asda cheapies - 25mIU
Boots own brand - 50 mIU
Clearblue Digital - 50 mIU (CBD with conception indicator is 25mIU)

The following was from an American website:

15 - 25 mIU First Response Early Result
20 mIU Aim MID-OTC
20 mIU AimStep PBC
20 mIU AimStick PBD
20 mIU One Step hCG
25 mIU Answer Early Result
25 mIU Clearblue Easy Earliest Result
25 mIU Confirm
25 mIU Crystal Clear (Australia)
25 mIU CVS
25 mIU Day Seven
25 mIU Health Check
25 mIU Insta Test
25 mIU LifeSign 1 Midstream
25 mIU LifeSign One-Step
25 mIU One Step Be Sure
25 mIU Pregnosis (Australia)
25 mIU Puralin One Step
40 mIU E.P.T

You are definitely testing too early, wait until you've missed your period then test again. Use the first pee of the morning as this is most concentrated and will give you the strongest result.

Tests like first response are more sensitive than the clear blue so they can pick up on pregnancy sooner.

I can see that you really want this, but do try and calm down. If you get a bfp it's then a loooooonnnnggggg 10 week wait until you get a scan to confirm all is ok. So the best thing you can do is try and chill out about it!

Thank you for answers.
I know I am testing early. I actually thought, because of misread ovulationtests that i was a bit earlier in my cycle so thats why i tested so early. and then when i read about ovulationtests and i saw i had my ovulation probably a bit later i tried again and got the really faint line, so then i just got so exited and started overdoing it a bit perhaps.

my husband has low testosterone so we will probably get help if we are not pregnant now, because that can affect the chances of getting pregnant. it can happen, and has for us (we have been pregnant two times one tie until week 21 and one time until week 5 .a year ago last time. i got infection and gave birth to early our boy died and early miscarriage at 5 weeks), but is probably making it a bit less likely.

i guess i am worrying and longing to much for several reasons. Ill take your advice, which i know is the right thing without asking and take another test in like 5 days or so. :D keep your fingers crossed for us.
id like to get pregnant without ivf.

thanx for answers

And thanx for the hcg list. very very very helpful =) nice to know clearblue needs a bit higher hcg. i have also read that it usually needs that. 50. so thats nice to know, maybe its just to early i really hope so.

its so strange with the faint lines. i guess either to early or maybe early miscarriage again :/

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you OP, I really hope you get a good clear BPF and I'm so sorry about everything you've been through flowers

Took me a good few days to get a bfp on a digi. As i recall I had a faint but visible bfp on FRER on the Monday and didnt get a pregnant on the digi until Friday. That made me what I thought at the time was 15 DPO but according to my scans I would have been more like 17/18 DPO. Try to stay calm - if you're getting good lines you are pregnant.
