Hi all, first time poster, long time lurker.. Looking for some advice from those more experienced and knowledgeable than I!!

DP and I have been TTC (first time) since Oct 16, had four normal regular periods since coming off the pill, with a cycle around 31/33 days.

I am currently on cycle day 40, and absolutely no sign of AF at all. Managed to hold out until today to test, used CBD on first wee of the day... The first test gave a fault reading, and the second said not pregnant.

Obviously I have now hit Google, where generally it seems CBD need a higher level of hormone to be present than other tests... I've never been this late before, and really confused about what is going on!! Any ladies had something similar happen...and what did you do?

Thanks you!!

Do you know when you ovulated? Maybe you ovulated late or did not ovulate this cycle (which is not uncommon to have one or two of those cycles a year).

If you are more than 14dpo, generally tests are reliable (even cbd). I have heard a few women who don't test positive for a week or so after a late period... but it's rare.

Thanks Physicskate... According to Ovia I ovulated around the 14th Feb, but that's only using the app on my periods, I'm not temping or using OPK's yet- I didn't want to get too crazy obsessive about it too early on...

mermaid did you get any other O signs like cramping or EWCM? I don't find ovia reliable at all for predicting ovulation. Are you able to pick up a more sensitive test like a first response one?

Hi ethelfleda..I've been getting camping like pmt every morning for about ten days now...and I've been alot more tired after work than usual as well for the last fortnight... I've been trying to track my CM but I've not been having much luck identifying my CM to what it Should look like... I'm considering going to Get a FRER, or a superdrug early response and testing again if AF doesn't turn up in another three or four days..
