TTC - #1
Currently 9+5 with a heart beating bean hoping for a good 12 week scan this time!

Beagles - I've had my booking in appt no date for 12 week scan but should hopefully receive that soon, due date currently 27th sept but they may put it back a week as the measurements for bean put us a week behind (fits with suspected ov date and long cycle). Hate peeing in the night so disturbing am going at least twice!!

Job sounds good Kate you sound a lot happier hopefully this will help bring your bfp!

Footy - feeling sick about 80â„… of the time must say after reading your post suddenly realised it's not stopped me eating or drinking and I do seem rather good at ignoring it! Have learnt which foods to eat that don't make it worse that's for sure just a shame it's all carbs!! Are you feeling any better?

Tee - how is it going with dh?

Jam - good luck for your appt this week xx

Getting a little anxious as we head towards the 10 weeks mark especially up to 12 weeks as last pregnancy we saw a heartbeat at 7 weeks then bean had gone by 12. I guess what will be will be risks are low once heartbeat seen I know just also know the worst can still happen - would have to be rather unlucky for twice in a row though right?!!

Hope everyone else is well xx

Hi everybody!
I'm still here Grin
So lovely the grads are still cheering us on, it means a lot!

TTC: #2
Cycle: 14 (including a MC last year 2nd March, and MMC confirmed 28th November)
Age: 34
CD10

DH went for his SA yesterday, hoorah (he's in my good books big time!). Results came back all elements in normal-good range. We didn't pay for a follow-up/detailed explanation of the results, but it was obvious it was all fine, so that's great!
I hadn't done anything in the way of tracking this month, trying to be relaxed, but we were debating whether to DTD tonight, as we're conscious of burning out early (as usual) so I thought 1 little opk won't hurt! I tend to ovulate CD13 and get my peak opk CD12, but it was a stonking positive this morning! So think OD tomorrow or Thursday (which happens to be DH's birthday and Anniversary of first MC). How poetic it would be to conceive again then, being gifted back what was taken away a year ago. We have a day off together and DS is at preschool, so I think a relaxed/naughty day in bed is in order!!

Welcome newcomers!

Yes thankyou grads for sticking with us!

Oh tee that would be perfect if you did conceive the same time as last year. Glad to hear the SA was good for your Dh. It's all the matter of luck now I think for you. Day in bed sounds good plan. Wink

Jam would be so typical you get a bfp now as u start the fertility clinic route. Fingers crossed.

Anyone else in testing range?
TBH I have no idea where I am- hoping I did ovulate. But today noticed cm has changed slightly. No cramps or twinges whatsoever this cycle so far???Hmm

Positive opk two days ago, so should have ov'd yesterday, but temp still low today... hmm... We last dtd with a finish (sorry tmi) 4 days ago, so not much hope if I didn't ov till today.

Oh and my voice? Totally gone all day. Think it's laryngitis following a slight sore throat last week. I haven't been shouting at the children, I promise!!! Grin

Ah russ that's so exciting! Glad all is going well for you!

Definitely enjoy the naughty day tee sounds like perfect timing. Also glad the SA went well. One thing you can cross of the list!

Where do you think you're up to footy? My cm was only able to predict where I was when I tracked it for days, one or two would be too random but the overall picture worked.

Yeah yeah kate we believe you! =D I totally and completely lost all sound, never mind my voice, literally all sound from my mouth due to one of my chest infections before Christmas. I literally had to mime my classes, type instructions on a word doc on the projector and bang on the desk to get attention. Nightmare! Lots of rest and don't try and strain it to get something, it'll come back. Also I feel your pain with no finish in dtd my dh is like that and it's so hard not to show the disappointment sometimes! You never know though! Keeping my fingers crossed.

I've got frequent acid reflux through the day =[ driving me nuts. I know the sites and books say it's normal but did anyone else have this? I didn't even know what it was. I had a stomach ulcer last year and besides then I've never had heartburn or anything like it.

CD ? 11 post miscarriage

Hi all, I'm recovering after my miscarriage. I'm a bit up and down but improving day by day. Did an OPK 2 days ago which was negative and then one yesterday which was blazing positive. Had run out of HPTs but they arrived yesterday and still positive. I feel like I'm ovulating but is that even positive with a positive pregnancy test? I have researched and it seems that other people have had negative tests up to three weeks after and then their AF has arrived on time so unless all those cycles were anovulatory I guess its possible.

Its been 12 months since I started tracking cycles with FF which is a bit depressing. I thought I'd be pg or have a baby by now but I am back at square one again after being a graduate twice.

Beagles I got hideous heartburn all the way through my first pregnancy, couldn't be without a bottle of gaviscon which I used to swig from regularly. There are tablets you can take (rantitidine or omeprazole) if it gets too much. I just stuck with the gaviscon which did the trick but it was like an addiction.

Kate does your temp always jump up post ov? Mine was more of a slow riser. I'm so glad the new job is shaping up well. It will really boost your fertility not being so stressed all the time. We are a house of germs at the moment, coughing, snot and had a tummy bug last week. DH has been an absolute star since I have been off, he even went to pick the kids up when he was feeling ropy and threw up on the way to school. I should have gone and get them but he insisted so I didn't have to.

This is going to be a long post so I'll break it into bits so I don't lose it.

Hi to radders and Parney, hope motherhood suiting you well. Jodders your baby is beautiful, and 10lbs!!!!

Tee Great news on the SA. Enjoy your naughty day. My libido has been through the roof which also would be in keeping for fw for me. Its all a bit odd but DH isn't complaining.

Footy how are you doing on the metformin? I hope you are managing with the queasiness. I am going to test every 3 or 4 days until I get a negative test. I remember the milestone after my last mc when I got a negative tests, a bit depressing but signals a new start.

Kiki I am so so happy for you. It must be amazing seeing your little bean with a HB. Its a real roller coaster of emotion isn't it. I have been thinking and I don't think I'll go for an early scan next time. I did this time as i wanted to know early if it was a MMC, I thought if it was a blighted ovum, and I ddn't find out until 12 weeks I would have wasted so much time., If I have have another mmc I don't want to know so early, I have had too much time off work already and it will be time for a break from ttc if that happens.

Hi Russ how are you feeling? Any movements yet?

Jam I hope your appointment goes OK? My sister had one but for various reasons it didn't go well. There was some lifestyle issues that needed sorting (in him) so they were just told to sort them and keep trying. I don't think that will be an issue for you though so hopefully it is positive (or you get a BFP on the day of the appointment.

Hi JM and MAMA and welcome.

Hey nim good to hear from you. Hoping your body gets back to normal soon. Yes u never know u could be ovulating. Don't miss the opportunity. It's a tough call re: early scans. I never did have them with my 2 dc's. But I guess I was 30yrs and hadn't even heard much about mc's as much since being on here. Not just this thread, read a few others and it seems to be very common. Think if I were pregnant now I'm not sure what I'd do. Id be torn... would want to have faith all was well but the other half of me would be doubting and worried.

Beagles, I'm sharing your pain of acid reflux and indigestion!!! And I haven't got a bfp in the bag like u! I know the gaviscon the best and safe to take. Heard also to drink ice cold milk before meals helps. At the mo I find I can't eat cucumber, peppers, chillies and fruit juice- they make it 10 times worse.

Was thinking I may have a phantom pregnancy lol.. I have all the symptoms haha..these pills are so killing me off slowly I swear! So.. yesterday I followed a plan I found on Internet for these horrid drugs. Breakfast- couldn't stomach, lunch- soup and wholegrain bread- no butter, apple and glass of milk. Felt fine, so then repeated lunch for dinner. Felt fine. By 8pm I'm starving hungry and felt so much better BUT the biscuit tin was calling me v loudly!BlushThought oh 2 hobnobs & a glass of orange juice won't hurt. My goodness by 9:00 pm the sickness kicked in, palpitations, felt drunk and was burping through the night. Terrible nausea this morning. I'm learning the hard way for sure!
So basically no sugar or fat until I get a bfp - I just wanna cry Sad craving a McDonald's!! Lol
So today- chicken soup and bread again!!!
Kiki help!!! What on earth did u eat?

Cd20StarDtd yesterday and so I have a few scattered days every two days before so here's hoping! Took temp today and it's higher than a few days ago so fingers crossed. Still no ovary pain all cycle so far?! Taking it a good sign maybe? As when I had my two dcs I never felt anything around ovulation. The clomid def gave me lots of cramps, but the cycle before last I didn't have clomid but still got lots of pain? So who knows.. can't wait to stop these metformin so just hoping I get a bfp asap!!

Kate, interestingly I read a thread on temping and there's quite a few ladies who said if you are ill or on any med it can affect your temp. So you being ill might have not made it clear for you. My whole cycle has been much much lower since metformin so I think that must be why for me.
Stop shouting at your Dh! lol that's why u lost your voice.

Not too much happening now- just the tww wait Grin I went to the gp today to discuss options with my medication and Ttc. And decided it might be not a bad idea to slowly come off of them. Bit scary but I hope it will be not too bumpy a ride! I'm on 50mg of sertraline for ptsd and depression. I shall monitor it to see. I believe I have 8 days till test day Brew do you guys not drink till you get a positive? What about soft cheeses and whatnot? Lovely to see all the pregnant updates and baby arrivals! Xx
