Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum but have been having period/ovulation issues and wanted to get some guidance.
I came off the implant after 9 years on October 11th 2016 and have had no period or symptoms. I had blood tests last month which showed I was stuck mid ovulation and told to wait it out.
I've been monitoring my fertility using clearblue ovulation kits since then as was concerned. Every day I've had the empty circle until tonight when I had the static smiley face indicating peak fertility. I'm Norbert sure if it's accurate as I had no high fertility indication even last night.
My partner and I had unprotected sex on Saturday using withdrawal method (it was kind of spontaneous 🙄) and I've been trying to make sense of 'ovulation' since receiving the peak fertility indication tonight.
Can anyone give me some guidance as to what's happening? I'm getting myself quite confused 🤷‍♀️ xx

You don't always get the flashing smiley face. Sometimes it jumps straight to the static one which means you're about to ovulate

Its normal to be worried. I was last cycle (1st off pill) and i still am a little bit. Best advice i was given was just give your body time to adjust and enjoy the sex. I now only use the ovulation sticks and temp charts so i have historic data to compare if i havent conceived in 6 months to a year xx

Kim it could be possible you are having ovulation pains? I got them when I stopped my pill to have my lo a few years ago. Lasted about a day, very aches lower back then pain where I imagine my ovary is. How long have you had the pain and how bad is it? Ps about the ovulation tests I found it better to do it once a day in the evening always got a more accurate result. Hope you are OK.

Hopefully it is ovulation pain then as if you got positive ovulation tests a few days ago then that would be about right! And too early for period to come. I got a sharp pain and I swear that's when the egg was released. I had got really strong ovulation tests on the sat and sun, dtd on sun night, I think Monday achy all day and sharp pain about a hands length in from my hip bone that evening and I was sure that was the egg being released and sure enough 12 days later positive pregnancy test. If it doesn't get any better or gets worse give the Dr a ring just to get checked out though. Ps I'm in same boat just stopped cerazette too!! Only two days ago though Smile
