Sounds irresponsible but we didn't use any contraception when we started DTD 3 weeks ago and now I feel light/mild period pains and feel absolutely exhausted. The same kind of exhaustion I felt when I fell pregnant with DS2. I took a test but it came out as BFN. But I just feel like I am. Has anyone else fallen pregnant straight after birth?

Yes, I was exclusively breastfeeding twins and was pregnant again when they were 11 weeks old.

Plenty of people! Give it another week, take another test then sort out contraception if you're not!

How did you know for sure if you don't have a period to miss? Also I have an abscess on my coccyx and may need surgery for removal but I'm worried what this would mean if I was pregnant.

Hello, not straight after but 10w after. Went on hols, no contraception, you do the math!

Sadly I miscarried 11weeks later but the consultant drilled into me that conceiving so fast was NOT AT ALL the reason I lost that baby.

Are you happy? It's a daunting prospect but I think there's an argument for popping the babies out one after another; gets it all out of the way fast, even if it may age you 1000 years in the process!

Wishing you luck and baby dust x

I started bleeding thought it was a period but it stopped after 24 hours. Exactly like the implantation bleeding I had experienced with previous pregnancies.

My grandma ;-) and her daughter in law.
There's a horrible expression 'Irish twins' exactly for that kind of situations.
