Hello everyone!
Just wondering if anyone can answer
Is it possible to get pregnant without any positive opk?!

I suppose it's possible if you didn't test at the right time and just missed your surge but if you have never had a positive opk because you aren't ovulating then no, usually can't get pregnant.

You not usually *

Thanks for your comments :)
I have got close to a positive I would say but I just don't know if where I then didn't test again and just BD as soon as I saw 2 lines - if it would of been positive after

It's very possible. I prefer the cb digital ones as you can't miss your surge then as they use fmu. That static smiley face is reassuring.

Yeah I have heard a lot of good things about the cb. As I guess with tge others it's hard to time it correct to see a positive x

I would also agree that while expensive the clearblue opks when used correctly are good to take the guess work out of squinting at lines. The dual hormone ones are also good to give you some notice of impending lh surge so that you can plan schedules around dtd Smile

i would also recommend the cb digital dual hormone. I was on cycle 16 ttc and signed up for the clearblue trial and you get these ovulation sticks as part of this. Got my first ever BFP first cycle using them, just keep praying every day its a sticky bean !

Thanks :)
I shall defo be getting this next cycle if I'm not already pregnant!
However once all the sticks have gone can you just buy the sticks by thereself or do you need to re purchase the whole kit?

Just wondering if I'm pregnant :/ I really don't know as I'm so irregular just don't want to get hopes up

U can buy them in boxes of ten or twenty sticks and there is a test reader included in each box.

Hi, I got some cheapies off the internet and tested every day, if anything, it gives you an idea if you are getting an LH surge.

I tested this month and now I'm wondering if we did enough Blush at the right time and Ive been obsessing on google and ovulation can occur up to 48 hours after the surge Confused.

My friend told me she was testing for a few months and not getting a positive, but she's pg! Maybe she missed it? I think some people test early afternoon and in the evening for more accuracy.

Ah Thankyou so much for this reply it feels me with confidence
I'm with you on goggleing lol! I think j if you look in my history it would all be about ovulation and questions lol!!

Ahh fingers crossed you did dtd enough! :) when is AF meant to arrive for you?

It's so hard isn't it as I've heard that the LH surge can be missed and then I've heard that two lines ( even faint ) can be positive for some and like you said people can get pregnant from never having a positive line as such!!

We started dtd wen I first saw 2 lines as before it was only ever 1 line so I hope we dtd enough that if I missed it as I didn't test twice at first that we did it enough to catch it if you know what I mean!!
I guess it all depends when you test and how much you drink and all that! My fingers are crossed for us both!
My AF was meant to arrive today but hasn't.. I won't get my hopes up as it took 3 months for my last AF to arrive and I've had blood and ultrasound done and they said it was all normal expect one hormone was higher than the rest but they said it wasn't extremely high!
Xxxx

Another question..
does 2 lines even if it's faint mean that your ovulating?
Jjst worrying now that I didn't ovulate this month?.. if i didn't ovulate would there be two lines? At times dark at times faint but never positive

Last month I got a really strong positive opk quite late in the evening (just before midnight) but my OPK earlier that day had been quite faint. This month I got a faint line in the am and a much darker but not quite positive line in the late eve so assumed the next day I would get my positive. Tested twice next day and both lines were very faint. I'm now wondering if an LH surge can happen overnight? I've been dtd a lot this fertile week so I'm not particularly worried I've missed my chance but just found it weird that I was so close to a positive and then the next day it was very negative again! I have heard that many women never get a strong positive and they've gone on to get pregnant. I think that as long as you're getting a fairly strong-ish line rather than very faint ones, your LH is surging. Fingers crossed anyway!!

Thankyou so much for your reply! That's made me feel a lot better

Oh wow that's crazy isn't it as you would assume the next time you tested that a positive would be there!
I think your right I reckon it can happen over night and then you make up and it's over and done with going back to the faint lines!!
But as long as your dtd around the fertile days and around the suspected ovulation day if you have worked it out from an app ( which I know isn't always correct) then you've prob covered all bases!
I bet it happens as soon as we stop testing it's like dah-ta ill be positve now ahah!
Yes I've heard alot of people have gone on to get pregnant aswell! Fingers crossed second day and no AF when is the best time to test? How many days should I wait? I was thinking waiting till Sunday? Xx

Thankyou for your reply :)

That's crazy isn't it how one day it is faint the next it goes darkish and then the next back to being faint again.

Yeah I think your right and I reckon it can happen over night and we miss the surge but aslong as we've dtd a lot in the days leading up to ovulation & on ovulation if you've got a app which says when you should ovulate which I do and I don't think it was correct. Then we should be okay and cover all bases lol!

I am jjst hoping I am pg but I don't think illl test jjst yet as my periods are usually irregular. If you don't ovulate can they give you a tablet or anything to help ? Xx

I can't answer you the tablet thing but my cheapies off the Internet show LH surge only (with the double line) - so today my CB gave me a flashing smiley, yet the cheapie sticks show now positive signs.

I'm choosing to trust the clearblue I think.

Praying for a static smiley on Saturday - it's my wedding day so a wedding baby would be amazing x

Ahh okay maybe it's worth me getting some cb ones. Just so fustrrTinf because I never got a positive as such I got 2 lines but wasn't classed as a positive.
I'm 2 days late on my period but testing now might be to soon?

Ahhhhh wow! Fingers crossed it will be my hopes are that you get a static smiley!! And ah no worries the more the merrier xxxx

If you're two days late it's not too early to test but if you're irregular and not sure (and it's not occupying your every waking thought!) might be best to hold off for a few days to avoid disappointment...

Yeah I am irregular since coming off the pill last year lol! I've had scans and bloods but can't find anything.

I don't want to be disappointed I think that's why I haven't rushed for a test. I have a few little signs one being achy boobs. There not to the point of real bad pain but I am noticing more and more each day of how achy and painful they are which I've never experienced before but then again it could be a sign of AF I guess xx
