Hi,
I've been around on a few threads the last few months. Had a mmc in August, been trying ever since to no avail. However, I don't always have a high sex drive, and we are both tired sometimes etc, so between that and my cycle taking a while to settle - I feel we haven't really given it our best! And possibly missing ovulation
So this month I'm feeling positive and wanted any tips people may have- I've started on vitamin b supplements, will be watching ewcm and trying to do the deed every second day from my period end (yesterday).
Is every second day best or every day? Should I be temping? Positions etc?
All advice greatfully received!

I honestly think temping is really helpful from the POV of building up a picture of your own cycle, along with cervical mucous. I personally get confusing results with opks.

You get a consistent temp rise after ovulation, so can't use to help with that month but it helps to build up the picture for subsequent months.

I'm ttc#2 and with no 1 temping and every other day from period (and conceive plus lubricant) got us pregnant first proper go. The previous month I hadn't really had a clue! I did do opks but it was only with hindsight I could tell which was marginally darker. My temping also showed a further rise when I was pregnant which might be helpful.

I didn't last time but this time (used a different app) have signed up to the fertility friend app. I wish I'd kept the data from my previous conception too to help with this one!

Yes, I think with our DS we did it every second day, and conceived quickly. With the last pregnancy I think it was more dtd around expected ovulation time, according to app, but that's not been working since, so I need to up the amount of sex! Hubby won't be complaining anyway.
Do you use a particular type of thermometer or would just digital one be OK?

I'm using the bog standard beepy boots thermometer!

Other tip I heard recently was to take EPO from period to ovulation (I think) to increase ewcm. But I want to do more research on that.

I use clear blue opks the digital ones and I think they're great .... my problem is that oh works loads and doesn't want to start trying properly until later in the year so I'm having a problem timing the tackle so to speak ... but the opks are helpful I think,
Also you should be taking a good folic acid and maybe a pregnancy multi vitamin
Good luck xxx

I'm on the folic acid- I might try the EPO too. Can't do any harm (might even help with my crazy hormonal mood swings in the meantime.. !)

If you know you ovulate on say day 12. Have lots of sex before and after, don't just stop because you think you've ovulated. The months I caught were the months I threw the OV sticks away and just had lots of sex.
