Another BFN

TTC is so distressing!!!! Every month we go crazy with this and that over the fertile days, then follows two weeks of dreading the bfn and then the heartbreak of the bfn itself. We've only been trying 9 months but it feels forever. I could've actually had a baby in this time. So hard to find a positive or any motivation. How long will it take 😔

I peach, I couldn't read your post and not reply. I'm at cycle 11 now and feel your pain. It's totally and utterly shit, isn't it? Every month feels like a roller coaster of extreme highs and lows. You are not stone and will eventually get that BFP. Will this be your first baby?

Sorry should say you are not alone, not stone!!

Hi there, thanks for your message. Yes, it would be the first baby for both of us. We want it so badly as I imagine you do too. I cant bear the thought that there could be another year to go before we get pregnant. So many of our friends are getting pregnant, I guess it's just that time of life (we are both 30 this year). The friends I've asked all got pregnant within a couple of months, I wish that had been us. What is your plan? Have you had any tests yet? X

We have 2 more cycles before we can go to the GP, I don't know what they will do; if anything. This will be our 2nd and to add insult to injury, I conceived first time with DS. I am worried that because I had an emergency section with him that somethings been damaged, but there's nothing I can do about that really.

Are you taking vitamins/supplements at all? I'd recommend agnus castus.

I'm taking preconception vitamins and so is my husband. Everyone I've spoken to about Agnus Castus says to not take unless prescribed because in some cases it is not beneficial to your hormonal balance. We're you prescribed?

No, the only change I've had is that my cycle is a bit longer. Also taking CoQ10 as recommended by friends. I'm willing to try anything at this point!

I am pregnant with DC2. With both pregnancies it took 5 months of trying and each time we conceived the first time we used conceive plus gel. Have you tried any sort of fertility lube? Have you been using opks?

Hello, I've tried conceive plus and preseed. I've used opks and a clearblue fertility monitor every month to make sure we don't miss the fertile days. Is there anything else to try?

Hi OP

Wanted to write to say that I feel your pain!

We are 6 months down the line TTC and it is so frustrating, wondering when it's actually going to happen.

The fact I had a MMC last summer adds to the despair. And the fact that the pregnancy was barely planned and we had sex just the once the month I conceived.

Over the last 6 months, I have never ever had so much unprotected sex in my whole life...and still not pregnant! Confused

Good luck OP!
