Ovulation test help

First time POS with ovulation kits. I have PCOS but with help of Metformin have now got regular periods. Have been tracking my ov on apps and discharge for some time but now ready to start using kits. Question- is using them just once a day in the AM the best? Is first morning wee most useful? When I think I am most fertile should I do twice a day until I see positive? Any help gratefully received!

I think it depends on the ov test? I don't know this as fact but my understanding is Internet cheapies are best used in the middle of the day, testing in the days leading up to ovulation (so if you ovulate cd10, start at 8 and see if the lines go darker each day).
I think the clear blue digital might be different though and you test with FMU each day?
Just from my fairly limited reading, so I'll be watching with interest as I'd like to know too!

Use internet cheapies like the one step brand don't use cb digitals as they don't accurately detect your lh surge.
Test once a day (but not with first wee) until they start getting darker or you get other symptoms. Then test twice/three times a day to catch the surge (which can last just 12 hours sometimes). Keep testing when you get a positive until the line fades back out to make sure you don't have a long surge, stop dtd and miss ov 🙂 Good luck
