I've had regular 26 day cycles for the past 10 years and ovulated on cd11 for the past 6 months (confirmed with opk, bbt charting and ov pains). I conceived this year on cd11 so know that it works for me.

Last month I ovulated on cd10 but still had a 26 day cycle as my luteal phase was a day longer than usual (it's normally 14 days).

Then this month I ovulated on cd9.

Does anyone else have a short follicular phase or ovulated earlier than usual? Or does anyone know why my follicular phase would decrease and my luteal phase increase? Or has anyone conceived as early as cd9?

Hi,

I believe it can be quite common for ovulation to occasionally move around by a day or so. Last cycle I ovulated in CD13 which is earliest it has ever been for me as normally I am CD15 or 16. This month it was CD14 though.

Definately think you can get pregnant on CD9 as know people that have so I wouldn't worry about it too much. As long as you caught it that's a good thing!

Thanks Anna for your positivity! We were dtd every other day around this time so hope that suffices.

And I meant I conceived 'last year' not 'this year'. I'm still in denial it's 2017!
