Thread 23. TTC #1 - New Year, New Opportunities. Let's keep those BFPs rolling in!

Calling all OPK-ers, Temp-ers, Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, IUI-ers, IVF-ers and anyone else on the TTC #1 Bus.

Happy New Year! It's 2017 and it's OUR year star

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We've ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar, and we don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

We have a new Grad's Thread. We recently lost a whole load of ttc veterans to the good side and we're absolutely desperate to join in the fun! May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

Currently 10 DPO with AF due on Fri/Sat. Mild cramping on and off for a few days but I'm not holding out any hope as it's happened before and AF's arrived bang on schedule.

Happy birthday for yesterday harriet!

Just got BFP - on 9th attempt with a medicated IUI. Starting trying in June 2015 - have done 9 rounds of IVF/IUI so far - had a BFP with IVF last year but had a MC at 8 weeks.

Just recovering from a bad bout of flu so not really holding out much hope this time around.

AFireInside Mon 02-Jan-17 18:29:23

Ive just input some data into Ovia and it's changed the predicted date of AF to 7/01 not 10/01. Is this good or bad?
I'm thinking good because it makes 2ww shorter wink!

Not using opks or temping any more. Just DTD as much as possible and hoping for the best. Have changed my diet radically, do yoga daily, drink various herbal teas, take a wide range of supplements and vitamins which I believe have helped to "fix" my dodgy luteal phase...am honestly getting to the point where there is nothing else I can do/try. Preliminary fertility tests all clear, my first appointment with the gynaecologist is tomorrow.

miwelaisjacydo Mon 02-Jan-17 18:41:12

Sk1p good luck tomorrow.

kwick Mon 02-Jan-17 18:52:25

- don't trust BOOBS
!!!!!

sk1pper best of luck for tomorrow. BTW I am in awe of your daily yoga

Don't post a huge amount at the moment as nothing to update, but usually lurking and spreading lots of hope and love from afar.

miwelaisjacydo Mon 02-Jan-17 20:02:49

Hello ssshh

Londonjam Mon 02-Jan-17 20:04:03

Gee how do you find clomid, has it changed your cycles at all? Why do they wait so long to put you on it, and why do they try it when your tests are all clear? Hope you don't mind my qs...
