Does this mean my cervix is low?

I'm a bit confused...

I'm in my fertile window at the minute, due to ovulate around Wednesday. I've been using OPK's for a few days now and they seem to be getting darker (but not got a positive yet) however I've BD'd the last two days and when I have, I've felt quite uncomfortable, like my partner is "hitting" something which I can only assume is my cervix. The first time we did it, it was uncomfortable for a few minutes then eased off but last night it was uncomfortable almost the entire time, to a point where the pain moved up into my right side. It wasn't painful as such, not enough to make me have to stop anyway but enough to distract me. I haven't had this problem before and now I'm a bit concerned. Plus if I'm meant to be coming up to ovulating, should my cervix not have gone higher up?

Your cervix will lower during ovulation. Best way to find out the position is to stick your finger up and check! Everyone is slightly different but generally if your cervix is high you can just about reach it with your finger and if it's low you can sometimes 'bump' into it because it's so much closer! You want a nice low cervix to help the sperm get up there. Good luck 🙂
