Hi Halo

Just wondering if anyone has got their bfp a few days after their period? Last month my period came a day or so early, but this month it's 3 days late now. I got a cheapie test today, convinced it would be positive, but BFN! So confused is even on Micronor my periods were very regular. I have been taking B vitamins and I've recently read that they can extend luteal phases? But I've looked at the bottle and I'm only taking 2.8mg of B6 and most people say online they take at least 50mg to do this! I know the real answer is to just wait, but OH is now on board with trying in earnest and wants to wait until June. I'd actually be super excited to wait and plan properly but now I'm worried about cycles become irregular just as we decide to try for number 2! Any experience or advice is appreciated :)

Hi there,
I've had cramps for the past week now which I assumed was mother nature showing her face however it never did come. I'm 5 days late now (was meant to start on 17th and end on 21st) i took a home test 2 days into being late and got a negative. I'm still getting cramps, feeling tired, moody and hungry. I've been told that you may not show up a positive on a home test for 2 weeks so its just a confusing waiting game :( i wish you all the luck in the world

Thank you so much, and same to you! It really is hard waiting isn't it, and I honestly didn't expect to be quite so disappointed seeing that BFN :/ I've also been having a few symptoms, mainly my CM. I remember having very obvious symptoms with my DD, but she wasn't planned so I don't know how late my period was then! Let me know how you get on if you retest, I'll be POAS'ing tomorrow :)

Oooh thank you so much for the update, and congratulations! Halo

I'm still waiting for an answer either way! :/ Am 12 days late now which is just unheard of for me. Was getting BFNs at 8 - 9 days late still, but convinced myself I got a ridiculously faint positive on a boots text yesterday, but am not sure I'm not just making that up! Am going to get a couple more tests today, there are no signs AF is on the way at all!

I am in the same boat. Today I am four days late. Unheard of for me really. No signs of AF but then no signs of pregnancy either. It's so frustrating. BFN this morning 😭

Aaww Mummy I know the waiting is awful. The worst thing is we decided to TTC our second child this month, and the same month my super regular cycles go completely AWOL. Wtf ovaries??

I also had cramping bang on when AF was due and got extra nipple bumps so my hormones really went all out to make me think I was pregnant...

On a more serious note, I'm wondering when to go see a doctor because either there's possibly something wrong that's making my period not come, or worse I am actually pregnant but there's maybe something wrong causing my hcg levels to be really low/not rise. Hopefully it's just one of those things, I read healthy fertile women can still have one or two anovulatory cycles a year, maybe just really bad timing with our decision to TTC. A confusing situation to be in though.

This is also our first month TTC number two! We have a gorgeous boy who just turned 4. I am going to phone and book a doctors appointment for 10 days late. If AF has turned up I will just cancel it. I'm just so frustrated as if I'm not pregnant it's eating into my next cycle! I had what I thought was implantation bleeding on Christmas Day too. It really plays on your mind! Hubby says he remembers a very faint line with first baby and Clear Blue told us we were 5-6 weeks then!

Aw how lovely Halo

Our little girl is nearly 16 months now! I think I'm going to talk to a GP too as I've never been 2 weeks late, even on the pill. We got a faint first line too but had no idea where in my cycle we tested as had only come off the pill 2 months before, so I could have been late or early, who knows. Really really good luck to you, and please let me know the outcome, it feels like I'll be stuck in limbo forever!

Also mini update - thought I was imagining a tiny tiny spot if light pink in my CM earlier, but just went for acwee and there was a very thin but definite streak of light pink cm in the middle, so hopefully something is happening, AF or maybe implantation bleeding?? Thinking definitely the former but holding out hope for the latter Grin
