Two brands, two different results!..help!

DP and I are TTC #2. I took a clear blue yesterday and got a faint positive. I took a clear blue today ( because I am a crazy testing lady) and got a faint positive. A friend of mine recommended that I take a First Response so I did that the same as the clear blue today and nada.

How does that even happen? Is that possible? Is it possible to get two false positives? I've been told FRER are more reliable that clear blue and now I'm confused! Any insight?

How many dpo are you?

But yes, perfectly possible! Different brands, different wee (was one FMU?)...

Waiting game! Have a few tests on and retest after 48 hours...

Hi. I had a faint positive on CB & nothing on FRER & then AF showed up. I think CB, and blue lines in general, are notorious for having squinty fake positives. I've heard frer, and pink lines, at more reliable & obvious if positive. That being said I hope it's truly a BFP for you xx

If you've had a positive you ARE pg. Cobgratulations thanks

I've heard of blue tests not being as reliable as link dye. Wait a couple of days and try FRER again.

I'm due tomorrow, I'll wait to see if AF comes and then test again if she doesn't. I've got some cramping going on and have done for the last two days so I've convinced myself they were both false positives 😔

Did you use a first response early response or one step? The one step are to be used from 14dpo onwards, early response can be used from 9dpo onwards. Check the box!

Can we see pictures please?

I don't think that second test is positive 😔. The first one is unclear as well as it looks like dye hasn't completely cleared although there is a shadow of something there. Did it come up within the time frame?

RaaRaaTheLion Sun 18-Dec-16 21:40:54

MrsCharlie both within time frame! I've just taken another FR because I'm going a bit nuts over this ( I never thought TTC would do this to me) and this is the result. I can see a very faint line, as can DP but we may both just be wishful thinking.

Twistedsister7 Sun 18-Dec-16 21:41:11

That first pic looks like mine did & it wasn't BFP. Get a frer to be sure. Fx for you xx

Twistedsister7 Sun 18-Dec-16 21:42:00

Ooooh I think I see a line on that one.

RaaRaaTheLion Sun 18-Dec-16 21:46:09

B&W of the same test, the FRER.

MrsCharlieD Sun 18-Dec-16 21:56:19

That Frer looks promising. How many dpo are you?

RaaRaaTheLion Sun 18-Dec-16 21:58:39

13DPO with 25 day cycles!

Evergreen17 Sun 18-Dec-16 21:59:57

I see a line on that FRer but maybe test tomorrow morning first urine? Good luck!

BumWad Sun 18-Dec-16 22:02:21

I'm sorry I can't see a line on any of them!

ItsASunnyDay Sun 18-Dec-16 22:04:31

The FRER has a definite line. Looks good OP! Congratulations flowers

haveacupoftea Sun 18-Dec-16 22:14:50

I see a line on the FRER. Try another tomorrow

MouseLove Sun 18-Dec-16 23:54:23

I'm really sorry but I can't see a positive test in any of the pictures you've posted. When is AF due. Really hope I'm wrong. X

As I said above you're using the one step FRERs there. I can tell by the fact it doesn't have the pregnant or not pregnant line next to it. There's a faint line but it would be obvious on an early response test!

MmmMalbec Mon 19-Dec-16 05:54:26

Ignore the fact I'm a total POASaholic at the minute but the top four are the early response and then bottom is the later response ones. See the difference in the design of the stick!!!

Newtoday Mon 19-Dec-16 07:29:36

RaaRaa any luck this morning? Latest pic showed only a very faint line so hoping it gets stronger for you!

WellErrr Mon 19-Dec-16 07:32:42

I couldn't see anything on the CBsbut a v v faint squinter on the FRER...
