AF one day late, but BFN!

Help! No sign of AF on due date yesterday, so did FRER this morning and BFN! Cycles usually like clockwork, even after two recent MC. Every time I've been late, I've been pregnant. But, would expect FRER to show something today, and NOTHING, not even a squinter.

Am I definitely out???

Anyone had a BFN at 16 dpo and gone on to get a BFP?? Or am I clutching at straws?? With my 2nd PG (which ended in MC) I don't think I got a BFP until I was about 3 days late, but was using ICs, not FRERs...

Would really appreciate your thoughts!

Me too! Been reading up and in 10% cases hpt wont pick up pregnancy till later than this. I'm now 4 days late and holding out till Tues to test again as that will be longer than my longest cycle since I started paying attention.

Apparently implantation can be between 5 and 12 dpo it can then take a few days to complete and a few more days for enough hgc in urine for a positive test result. So can be as long as 19 dpo before getting positive hpt. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed a bit longer.

Thanks banana - glad it's not just me! Still no sign of AF. Feeling rubbish, but presumably if too early for BFP, too early for symptoms I'm probably just ill! Brilliant. Fingers crossed for both of us.

Great guide New - good to know there's still a chance, although not overly hopeful. Can't decide whether to do another FRER in the morning!! They're so expensive, and I don't want to waste one.. what do you think???

I'm waiting till Tuesday, that will be 20 dpo so if AFs not shown by then will have another check. Could just be that we ovulated later than we thought, orfor me that my new medication is messing my cycles.

I got BFNs up until I wad 6 days late for AF. 14mo ds is now toddling round the lounge...

Argh! I'm in this situation too! AF now 4 days late and a BFN last night. Fingers crossed for everyone!

AF finally arrived 10 days late, oh well never mind, theres always next month frustrating wait but not completely unexpected result after the bfns. Good luck to everyone else still waiting it out.
