Can ovulate the day after your period stops?

My situation is a little different because after a couple of cycles between 21-25 days I suddenly had 65 day cycle. My last period lasted 16 days.
So, realistically, could I ovulate now at CD17 onwards? Or is that too late? Also, if i were to ovulate could that be just a couple of days after my period ended?
Thanks everyone

Anything possible - only way to know what's going on inside is to temp - do you/could you start? Reading Taking Charge of your Fertility explains all of this and more!

Yes you could because your period still started 17 days ago so like in an average cycle ovulation could still occur day 14+

I did with DD1, and DS was very early in my cycle too. Regular 32 day cycle though in my case, so it is possible.

Great, thanks for your replies. @Newtoday I used to temp bit stopped as I work shifts so I was temping different times every morning and the results were irregular. I'm using ovulation test strips though so I'm hoping they'll give me an idea of what's going on :)
